Wow breaking this story must have mentally drained her, as if she thinks that is hammering I would hate to see what she would be like if she actually got interviewed by people that hit her with some hard hitting questions.

Wow she thought that was a hammering? Really? I thought they were very understanding and handled her with kid gloves, she didn't cop any criticism. I rate her but thats beyond soft.

We've just lost our highest paid player for zero compensation, because of an agreement that was made on Trigg's watch. Regardless of what the AFL's investigators find, Trigg should rightly be in the gun for this monumental balls up alone.

Kurt was informed last night that the AFL would not be allowing him to be traded today. Kurt will now enter the Pre-season Draft in December with the hope of being picked up by the Suns. Kurt will also do pre-season training on the Gold Coast by himself until the Pre-season Draft as he did last pre-season. Joel Tippett has also signed up to play for the Southport Sharks next season. The Suns will continue to be tight lipped while they travel over to Arizona and Kurt won't join them overseas.

How is she going to know? There's so much to play out in this yet.. Will he be de-registered? Will he be allowed to nominate a price? - which is what she said.. And that it's all very raw..

She seemed fine to me, confident in her source and is a trusted source.. Did a lot of checking on the info and then felt it was right to go with.. She is usually on the money..

I've been reading THE AGE daily for the last twenty odd years.....they're are obviously very melbourne centric and usually have very little idea what's going on outside victoria...I can't see any reason to heap such praise on her or Caroline Wilson....

her interview was full of ums ahs and I don't knows....a good journalist has an opinion on everything let alone on her topic of 'expertise'.....not impressed at all....I used to work with several journalists when I was a PR manager and they were extremely intelligent people who also knew what was going on....she sounded like a cadet.....

she is trusting a source who has apparently seen the email saying that the crows told tippetts team not to tell the AFL....that's what she wrote in her column....but in the interview she states that it didn't say that exactly but it was 'the gist of it'....kind of important to get that fact correct wouldn't you say?

so she hasn't seen the document, the information comes from one source only (a good journo will always have multiple sources confirming facts) and suddenly the wording of a crucial piece of information isn't exactly as it was previously stated....

It strikes me as odd that Trigg would come out bold as brass rather than resign and take the heat off himself if in fact the document stated 'don't tell the AFL about this'

Does anyone else think that we knew sydney wouldnt increase their offer, so we wanted to send him to the PSD, BUT! we couldnt becuase of the agreement to send him to the club of his choice. So we told the AFL who we knew wouldnt let us trade him but we needed to take our medicine as well.

Blutcher is also Scullys manager. seems like hes a pro in Third Party deals. Scully father for example in a recruitment job

These agents need to go. Player salaries should be put in categories of 1- 5 ie 50-100k ,100-250k, 250-350k, 350-450k,450-600k

I know of player in the all Australian squad who was offered 150k last year in his contract and is no longer with that club. You cant tell me that Tippett was worth 600k more than this bloke- such are the irregularities in payments to players.
