I think the penalty really won't be as severe as everyone would have initially thought. The AFL aren't asking GWS to stop advertising their interest for Kurt and if anything are probably encouraging it behind the scenes. It's only really a matter of our punishment reflecting what Kurt gets away with. If he gets away with having to only move to GWS then we'll only receive a small fine and a stern warning which goes to all clubs.

Maybe I am but it's either going to be very lenient or very harsh. For some reason I've got a nagging feeling that we won't be punished too much simply because the AFL don't want two broken teams in S.A. If the penalty is on the other end of the stick then yes, it's going to somewhere around to what you described and it's going to feel like a semitrailer to the face.

Still, optimism is at maximum levels today.
