Well we have the best defender so hopefully things go well, i mean he got a guy off that was guilty as sin.

Chief executive Steven Trigg urged to quit as football manager Phil Harper charged over Kurt Tippett saga
  • Michael Warner and Jon Ralph
  • From: Herald Sun
  • November 14, 2012 11:30PM.

Ehrlich said every other tribunal saw the governing body forced to prove guilt, not the other way around.
"The procedure in Rule 17 is extraordinary, to say the least. I have never seen a tribunal or court in which the onus of proof is reversed and in which the AFL is entitled to act on the suspicions of an investigator, without proving those suspicions are correct.," Ehrlich said.

AFL Rule 17.5 states that an investigator may charge a club or individual with salary cap or draft tampering breaches if an investigator "suspects" a person has broken AFL regulations
.
The club must then prove the suspicion incorrect, with the rules stating: "A person charged by the investigator shall bear the onus of establishing on the balance of probabilities that the alleged conduct was not engaged in."

"Don't worry, Triggy. I have a fool proof strategy to get you out of here: surprise witnesses, each more surprising than the last. I tell you, the commission won't know what hit them!"

Blucher: What have you done with the letter regarding Tippett's agreement?
Trigg: I've hidden it. To find it, you must decipher a series of clues, each more fiendish than...
Blucher: Got it!
Trigg: D'OH!

And Trigg has claimed to the Crows' legal team that there is a perfectly good explanation for the rewritten John Reid letter which caused Adelaide to be investigated in the first place.

No one at the Crows has managed to provide one.

This shits me more than anything basically because no one at the Crows will say anything until after Monday therefore that equals guilty.

That is not the way it works just because Caro has Blutcher whispering sweet nothings in her ear does not make what he says true.

Also it is a better way to play this in the long term Galbaly has put his entire defence on the table they want to play the media but most people see it for what it is like Gaze on SEN yesterday.

This ought to give everyone a clue about how weak his case is.

No coincidence that this week's more damaging allegations surfaced just as the general consensus was starting to be that the Crows' punishment would be on a lower scale than first thought.

Don't think AFL House will be swayed one iota by what is being written in the media.

Not related in any way. :)

I admire your loyalty jenny but bloody hell there is only one move that Trigg can make regardless of what comes out of this inquiry, the flow on effects from all of this could do untold damage to our club.

Please let it be otherwise.

We need Matlock. And Those people from The Practice. And Denny Crane. But not Tom Cruise from The Firm, he needed a client to tell him the loophole regarding mail fraud to get out of his predicament.

Any hope we can slow the commission until after draft day?

I've a feeling the legal challenges will take care of that.
IMO There's too wide a gap between the Club's confidence and team KT's media leaks for this to not end up in a courtroom.
