To Tony Tippett, Kurt Tippet, Blucher, and Sydney "Bloods" supporters - WE AIN'T DE-LISTING THAT OVER-PRICED ONE MORE CONCUSSION MULE! You'll need to work a bit harder than that to get him. Wonder how he'll get along with Jessie White lol

I understand that there is the W C S scenario hence my question what happens if the AFL is forced too. Would we get some compensation under the fre agency rules??? I know its all hypothectical but it would be interesting what would happen.

Wouldnt that be hilarious? He gets to Sydney, AFL HAVE to compensate us - and as pick 23 wasn't good enough, it would have to be better. Is he on more than Cloke?

There is no compensation for Delisted Free Agents, and that is what he is trying to become.
I also agree the AFL will try everything to stop him circumventing the rules, they do not want holes in thier rules shown to everyone

How do you reckon that will play out when his first half a dozen games (rd 12 onwards) are absolute stinkers and Sydney lose a few close ones?
How many good games did he play for us? F**K ALL!

I'm well aware they talk. I'm keen to hear all about your discussions with Swans footballers and their opinions on Tippett, just as I was keen to hear the actions of the Swans list managers from here, too.
Go away troll! Go back to your BLOODS forum.

Anyone else hear on MMM  this morning the Club got on the front foot and said to the AFL they would subpoena all third party agreements from all clubs if the AFL didn't play nicely... Or words to that effect...

Yes I know given the source, take it with a grain of salt, but it does sound like the 'take no prisoners' QC approach that Peter J was talking about...

So then, already your players are divided on this, because clearly some of them do have a problem with him coming there.

And LMAO at play in the TWOs. Yeah right, pay him close to a million dollars and play him in the twos.
I cant understand what is hard to understand. He plays where his form warrants not according to his pay packet. So you are saying that because he was your highest paid player you could not drop him to the SANFL. He had to play for the crows because of his salary?

As for divided, I have spoken to 5 and none have a problem. I'll back my statement.

Please be true!

Go have a chat to Jessie White, see what he thinks of Tip$rat.

He'll be claiming that the AFL has prevented him from being a delisted free agent because of our actions. So he'll be suing us for doing the wrong thing and getting him punished as well.

To succeed at that he has to prove that he was induced into signing the contract, otherwise he is clearly just as culpable as we are. And it will be nigh impossible for him to prove that he was induced.
my understanding is that this current bit of legal maneuvering is to get him delisted and isnt about damages. thats obviously based only on what ive read in the media so could be way off.

And I've heard from three... so yep, ok not a problem. Don't say I didn't tell you.

You said nothing about form. You said he'd fit in to the "culture" or he'd be playing in the twos. I'm telling you now, there's no way they are going to be playing a million dollar player in the twos.

What'd they say to you when you got onto the blower to them, Jenny?

What idiot would put a $1m player in the 2's, especially a bloke like Tippett who will get 1 knock to the head abd bye-bye career!

So the state of play is
Crows volunteer to give up picks
Tippett threatens to sue

Clearly one party is trying to resolve the issue and the other is set on their own agenda, Why do I still have a horrible feeling that he will get off and the Crows will be bent over, am I the only one

I really hate that this guy is a Qlder, has shown no loyalty to his club or his state, total douche

New Article - Q&A with Hamish http://www.afc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/4417/newsid/151496/default.aspx
Said they were trying to trade tippet into a pick that would have got them Jimmy
So peed off at Tipprat - how can you throw your club under the bus like that, no wonder other players have a negative view of him/whats going on

This statement probably gives a good perspective on why we'd be happier to give up this years picks rather than next:

“I like next year’s draft. I think it’s going to be really good. An early call is that it’s going to have a good depth of midfielders. There are some good talls next year, but I don’t think they’re as evident yet.”
