Yeah they are suffering the same 'bomb it to Tippett' curse we suffered from. I remember a few games where he was out injured, our players actually started to hit viable targets and the forward line actually improved.

I don't think Cats fans got that upset when Ablett left! It was only Tippett, as tonight shows he's not great loss!

Remember Lake kicked a goal on Tippett at the start of the 3rd. Effectively he kicked the one goal and really fluked a soccer goal in the first too.

I think its the manner in which he left. If he wanted to go home, we accepted. If we got some form of fair compensation we would have accepted.

We have had players leave before without this angst. Tippett almost brought our Club to its knees begging for life.

Funnily enough, Im ok with him, he tried to do the best for this Club by keeping Tippett. He almost got away with it too. If Sydney offered anything descent we would have been ok or if Tippett rather wanted to go "home" ie. Brisbane we would have been looking in great shape.
