why would i make up this i would hate it if Bowdo was to leave he won out jack dyer medal in consecutive yearsif richmond take this i wouldnt be happy. However WElsh is a young promising player and plays simalrly to bowden both get a lot of posessions inn the backline playing lose

I wouldn't be paying too much attention to the Snickers post. Now I do not have a grasp on the value of Welsh - you guys would cover that much better than me - but I'm guessing we are not giving up an All Australian and winner of our past two B&F's for him.

How good is Welsh - what is fair? I know the newspapers troll here for stories and the Welsh v Tivendale story looks like garbage the papaers have 'reliably sourced" from Big Footy. But if a trade is clearly ridiculous (like the Snickers post), you would think the papers would have sense enough not to run it. But they have run Tivendale for Welsh. So is Tivendale for Welsh a conceivable trade?

He is highly respected by players young and old. He is in the leadership group and already mentors young players that come into the club.
He's tough, he's hard and we don't have a whole lot of that.

Thanks guys - I'm sure he is staying and hope he does well for you. As I said in my post, the papers have been shown to pick up crap off Big Footy (and other sites) - it really is journalism of the lowest order. The unfortunate result is that something a pinhead makes up from their PC starts to be given some legitimacy.

Welsh won't be going anywhere...especially not to Richmond. I doubt Essendon will ever trade with the tigers while that fool Miller is there.
