Good effort young fella, I'd be very surprised to see this many mature agers go and you just might want to look at needs a bit more for each club. E.G Salopek to Brisbane we'd have not much use for him but all in all decent effort
Cheers mate. Just getting some names out there, when I've finished exams I'll take a look at needs etc., and get the order finalised so all the de-listed players don't go in the draft

I really like Nick Graham and hope if he fell as low as you predict the WB would take him or Spencer White with 51.
Graham had a consistent year and won the Morrish medal and clearly the best on ground during the TAC Cup Grand final.
All that said, I think he might go in the second round.

Occasionally I'll miss a few. Towers + Broomhead this draft. I'll have to take a look at him

Robinson Kreuzer Changed. Dean Towers in for Symonds who has moved down the order to Carlton's last pick
TJ1996 Unless they can play the Leigh Brown role, I doubt that we'll take a ruckman.

We have to upgrade Tuohy, Curnow and Casboult from the rookie list.

Not sure what we have planned for pick 71 after we delisted Collins.

We need to find a player similar to Temay or Colquhuon who will probably be gone by 36. A Scotland replacement would be as attractive as getting a mid with pick 36.

Just out of the Territory boys I reckon Ben Rioli is more of a chance to get picked up rather than Braedon McLean and Louis Egger.

Alright, got the final draft order (+ Adelaide) and I've got most of the names in place, final order should be up in about 2 hours after I run some errands

Round 1
Pick 1 - GWS Giants
Lachie Whitfield
Victoria / 184cm / 74kg / Midfielder / Dandenong Stingrays
Pretty much the consensus number one draft pick this year. Been likened to Steele Sidebottom, and should turn out as the best of this draft cohort. Vic Country's star player and All Australian, averaging 28.3 disposals per game in the champs, taking home the Larke Medal.

Pick 2 - GWS Giants
Jimmy Toumpas
South Australia / 183cm / 77kg / Midfielder / Woodville-West Torrens
Again, the consensus number two draft pick this year. Played 4 games in the champs out of a possible 5, after coming back from injury and averaged 22.3 disposals per game. SANFL fans will remember him for his goal running down into the forward pocket in the grand final.

Pick 3 - GWS Giants
Lachie Plowman
Victoria / 191cm / 86kg / Defender / Calder Cannons
GWS desperately need key defenders, and although they also need a second ruckman they are in deep trouble in the back half. Plowman's been linked to GWS and I think they'll take him after they lost Hombsch to Port Adelaide.

Pick 4 - Melbourne
Oliver Wines
Victoria / 185cm / 83kg / Midfielder / Bendigo Pioneers
Ollie Wines is one of the best midfielders in the draft this year, and Vic Country's second best behind Whitfield in the champs this year. Almost averaged over 100 DT points per game in the champs. Can rack up the disposals and with Viney will slot nicely into Melbourne's midfield group.

Pick 5 - Western Bulldogs
Jonathon O'Rourke
Victoria / 183cm / 75kg / Midfielder / Calder Cannons
A superb midfielder coming off the back of an injury. Didn't have as much of a championships as Viney, Temay and the underage Billings, but showed enough to warrant his status as a top 10 selection. O'Rourke ranges from as high as the top 3, to as low as the end of the first round.

Pick 6 - Western Bulldogs
Troy Menzel
South Australia / 186cm / 77kg / Midfielder / Central District
Menzel will be the real surprise on draft day. On talent he's a clear top 5 and one of the best to come out of this draft, but will also slide because of the injuries to his knee, and to his brother's knees. Could go anywhere from 3-20.

Pick 7 - Port Adelaide
Sam Mayes
South Australia / 187cm / 78kg / Midfielder / North Adelaide
Could have gone with Grundy here as best available, but Port Adelaide do have quite a good ruck brigade. Mayes is a handy midfielder who can play as a small or tall forward as shown in last years championships. Could be one of the best from this years draft crop.

Pick 8 - Brisbane
Kristian Jaksch
Victoria / 194cm / 85kg / Forward / Oakleigh Chargers
Others considered for this pick were Mason Shaw and Dayle Garlett. This tall swingman makes good decisions with the ball by foot and hand shows excellent vision and is a strong spoiler.

Pick 9 - Richmond
Taylor Garner
Victoria / 186cm / 77kg / Forward / Dandenong Stingrays
Really jumped into draft calculations with a strong championships where he excelled with his football knowledge and defensive ability, along with his mobility and overhead marking capability.

Pick 10 - Essendon
Joe Daniher
Victoria / 201cm / 89kg / Forward / Calder Cannons
Easily the steal of the draft, GWS would have snapped him up with pick 1 otherwise. Very strong overhead mark and a confident kick for goal.

Rest to come...

Round 6
Pick 104 - Sydney
Cameron Symonds
Western Australia / 205cm / 100kg / Ruckman / East Fremantle
Tall ruckman a year out of colts football who played the majority of the season in the East Fremantle league team when Griffin was called into Freo's team for the injured Sandilands.

Pick 105 - Western Bulldogs (Rookie Elevation)
Jason Johannisen
176cm small forward/defender from WA who made his debut this year after being elevated as a nominated rookie.

Pick 106 - Essendon (Rookie Elevation)
Mark Baguley
Former Frankston defender/midfielder who cemented his spot in Essendon's midfield in the second half of this season.

Pick 107 - Sydney (Rookie Elevation)
Harry Cunningham
Small midfielder who played the first game against GWS for the Swans as the substitute, failed to break into last years premiership winning team after that.
