Maybe the North fans could all chip in and buy the club a MELWAYS so they can find Shell Stadium.
If we see a mini-bus travelling to the game,we will know that all the North supporters are going.

No the bank paid yours, at least ours was only money in advance from the AFL. I suppose you went broke buying all of your players new handbags each year, and then there are the bridesmaids dresses they would have been expensive seeing as you wore them so many times. It must kill you to have missed out so near but so bloody far and you will never get the chance to get those ones again, in fact I dont see you as having much of a chance this side of five years.
And "I" will be one of those supporters making my way in that mini bus.
I guess a mini bus is better than the tractors all you Geelong people ride on to get to matches.

ay Roos have a game down at Kardinia dont they? beauty if they do....hope its surfing weather can go before the game then. heck im so sick of that looooong drive down on that damm highway to Geelong but and in a minibus well heck that would be even worse! Catch the train there i say god there should be a plane there from the G i think! and how can we get tikets in there too i bet theyre all tigtarsed with them like Optus oval!

Its only about 50 minutes [depending on traffic]drive from the G to Shell Stadium.Melbourne people seem to think it takes hours to get here.
If most North supporters are on this side of Melbourne its pretty quick.
SPIDEY -put it this way.50 minutes is about the amount of footy that Rick O'mebackssaw has played in the last 3 years.

Right you are JunJub, Ricky has not played alot of football in the past few years. Denis Pagan & Co tried to get him to North a few years ago but Essendon wouldnt do a deal. He is still has the chance to improve on his 1993 premiership win. He has already done a lot better in his career than Stoneham.

This little black duck lives in the outer east so it literally would take us hours to get there. To my knowlege we haven't played there in about 5 seasons???

The game won't be shifted.Its only once every 5 years you might have to travel a bit,so I don't think it will kill you.
Geelong supporters had to travel to ARTIC PARK a few times each year and we never complained .It took longer to get out of that car park than it did travelling from Geelong to Waverley.

I spoke to someone at the club about the Match at HandbagLand and they told me you'll have to book early, as the majority of the stadium is seating now, you may have to get a reserved seat, all up it will set you back nearly $50 (with your own seat)!

You can stand on the Moorabool Street side of the ground or behind the goals at the city end.
You might have to get there between 12 -1 pm to get a good spot but theres a Geelong v Roos VFL game before the seniors.

whaaaaaaaaaaat 50 bucks well heck me! Same like those damm priks at Optus Oval wanted for Pies/Carlton lucky i managed to nick some AFL members cards but and get in for 2 bucks but. Hmm mite have to do the same for Shell Stadium. If its that hard to get in knock the piece of shite down i dont care Geelong ppl can just travel or move house. I don't know what that hovell of a ground down there is like now but I'd rather not use the standing area.

Darky, we take your minibus, plow through the fences & park inside the ground facing the fence just like suburban footy. I've got dibbs on the front passenger seat but we all get to take turns to honk the horn when the Roos kick goals.
But, if I must pay all that money for a reserved seat then I'm gunna find a souvenir at the ground to take home with me & that's all there is to it. Make my handbag Prada, thank you!
