Race 8 @ Bennala

Reberto Carlos

form: Ran well at Bendigo and Wodonga, both $20000, around 4 months ago, I think the shorter race should help it today.

Race 3 @ Cranbourne

Miss Moneyeater - Tho doesn't deserve to be so short , so will pass (well maybe bet to win but not place)

form: September last year, ran well @ Geelong, PM: $9000 Tpe: 3yo
Also ran well in a number of country races in the last 9 months, the pick being Wagga PM $20000

Verdict: I can't see any clear cut selections today, anyone else have any tips?

All other races. Cranbourne - Don't like any other races tho.

Race 4 @ Cranbourne

All Cheval looks to be the best. Raced well at Pakey this month, PM $12000, also raced well at Geelong PM $11000.

Desert Oasis has been ripping it up in some county races with fair prize money.

Don Caudillo and Lady Buccaneer have shown solid form in the past, tho the former has been ordinary lately.

Race 5 @ Cranbourne

Petite Gold looks okay, this may be worth an each way.

Race 6 @ Cranbourne

HI ON LOVE maybe worth an each way, ran well at Ascottvalle in September and October last year, Big Poppa Pump is the one with the recent form. Winthrow could place with a win at Pakey $35000, recently.

All other races Benela - these races look crap.

Okay up to Race 3

With Abductor and Delayed Reaction out who I guess looked the best (say that with no confidence ;)) are scratched, punters are going after Saterezo, why the pick of a grim bunch maybe :). If someone put a gun to my head and said I had to bet on this race I'd pick First Testament :D

Race 4

Fav after some scratchings is Mycolada, why I don't know. I'd prefer that other short starter Leica Rose. This is crap would have liked Duke Street, crap race.

Race 5

Bronze Aussie (?) can't find enough information on races it has been in which it has won. I like Uncle Willy, infact I love Uncle Willy, but this is a crap race, not enough dividend.

Cranbourne Quaddie

1-2-3-(4)/5-6-9-10/1-2-3-6/1-2-3-7

Pintaka has been running okay in some better quality races, very hard to pick, Agavero has some wins and good times in not as good but still reasonable races, I'd go shorter on this leg, try and get over the line with maybe picks 1 & 2. Too many possibilties, tho your statergy seems to be only to pick 4 for each leg.

Theres an ok sorta race at Orange today - Their cup, Got Winkurra in it who was a beaten fav at Sandown last start to Glefti.... Prior beat Danebar and Eight kisses over the 2400 at Warwick Farm...

Will probably be short though.. LADY ZHIVAGO looks to be the main danger coming through Misty D'cat and Tin Pan form

I'm gonna go British Storm...$22 on the tote, WTF.

Man can't get a trick lately on these photo finishes, Petite Gold, thought it was home. Miss Moneyeater won too :), just the bet to win. Gonna have a go at Brittish Storm at Orange, only beacuse of the odds, it's better than that. If it gets up thanks Helmie, wouldn't have looked at this race otherwise but Winkurra is an understandable favourite.

Still undecided on Reberto Carlos, and Testatude, but gonna have a go @ FYODOR, just having a play at the odds now, see how I go on those races then maybe have a go at Roberto Carlos.

Piss weak gutless effort.

Looks like it will be an all or break even on Real Assasy for me today...

A Couple of decent runs at Terran and Geelong this year, has run good races last year.

I can see Testatude getting an early lead and then being over run, might be a few hundred metres too many. Real Assay was too short for me. Though in my tipping statergy it rates just a bit better than Testatude. I'm hoping Testatude will place.

Me or the horse?

Didn't like this race and most others even the ones I've had a go at I didn't like that much, said that about 50 times. Just thinking out loud, appreciate your thoughts if any.

I meant the the horse haha

It's weak, it knocked the eventual winner over comming to the turn and despite the fact it had a very good run just off the pace found very little when put under pressure.

I'm not sure it can see out the 1000m which means it's going to be served up short again the next time it comes out but will need everything going for it to win a race if todays effort is any indication.

No worries :) It was pathetic.

I thought Petite Gold had just held on to win.
Who didn't? I was on Findaz Keepaz, thought I'd fallen short live and then on the replays. That camera angle at Cranbourne is terrible - even harder to line up with the post today just being the mirror.

Findaz Keeperz definately a black booker though, came from a mile back and will no doubt improve up to 1400m or possibly beyond.

Trots hasn't copped a mention here but A Touch of Flair in the Trotters Cup at Cranbourne off the 50m handicap and was last and 40m off the lead with a lap to go, gobbled em up with ease just before the turn and won by 11m. No matter what code you prefer, everyone appreciates a champion horse and effort and we saw that today.

Saw the race, and although TOF is class, its fair to say he was racing against nigh on nothing...
