Todd Grima - 50 VFL goals

The two he kicked in the final quarter of the prelim takes him to 50 goals for the year from 18 games.

Going to be interesting scrap to partner Mooney next year, assuming that Grima is promoted. If he was on the senior list I reckon he would have played ahead of N.Ablett and Hawkins mid year.

Will only be a half forward flanker in the AFL. We have plenty of these coming through. I do not think he has he size to be key position. (He does have the advantage that he can also play in the backline)
I think that Gamble will offer us more in the long run if he gets ovr his injuries. No one seems to mention him

Should we keep Lonergan? We also have to draft Davenport and Johnson
How many spots do we want to make available?

I think that he could be a handy player. He seems to have some smarts and knows where the goals are. He needs a bit of work on his body. A summer or two in the gym and he will be a better stronger player.

If Grima ever squeezes his way into the senior team (or really, if he ever pushes for a position) it'll be as the 3rd tall leading down the flanks. I'm not sure I'd classify that position within the team as being similar to the flank position a guy like Vegas would (likely) occupy if he was ever to squeeze into the team as well. It's the Gardiner-role, leading out to the wings and pushing further up the ground as a link-man, who can also double back and play one-out from the square as the simple lead-up forward if need be.

We're not exactly in over-abundance of these player-types.

Anyone else think he could function as an Adam Hunter-type utility? Is 2cm taller and the same weight.

Good on him. Sounds like he's had a great year and definitely one of the options to go on the rookie list or whatever the hell it is.
