Guys,

This question may not get much of a response because it doesn't start like:

"I've already used six trades, I've traded Goodes in and out of my team three times, my bench still has Hay, Coughlan and Bailey on it, this week I'm tossing up whether or not to trade Judd for Robbie Warnock blah, blah, blah...."

BUT:

For as long as I can remember, the Herald-Sun / Champion Data has printed a TOG (Time On Ground) column - on a player-by-player basis and a total time of game at the bottom. This season, they have changed this and now only give a percentage for each player, and no total for each match. So a player may have played 100% of a 108-minute match, 100% of a 125-minute match, or 82% of a 116-minute match. All we get this year is the "ratio/percentage" of 100% - and no longer the actual match length.

Does anybody know where the actual match length can be sourced from???

Cheers guys, hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Yea, i can't find it on the net. But its the herald sun, after the game.
I must be loooking in the wrong place.

All I can see (in the Herald-Sun) is the percentage each player has played in every game - not actual minutes played or total minutes of game.......

Why does the actual time matter so much? A percentage will still give you a fair idea.

Whilst on the topic of % ... how well is Rodan going considering last week he had like 52% game time and last night only 75%

There is a HUGE difference in total TOG between teams - say, Sydney vs anybody else.

A player from Sydney plays 100% of game-time, equating to generally 120-125 mins, sometimes as high as 130 mins - simply due to their style of play.

Compare this with 100% of game-time for anyone else, and that could equate to or average 110-115 minutes.

Big difference when you have automated progams relying on game-time as an important variable.....

Yeah, you raise a great point mate.
Surely it wouldn't be heard for the Sun to publish the total time of the game and then give the percentage.
seems more logical.
