Carlton’s midfield is horrendously slow as it is without adding another crabWould Carlton take a stab at a minimal cost solution to support Cripps or do they accept their window is gone and trade Curnow + others to blood youth before tassie join the comp.

I get hung on the blues page for saying this.Would Carlton take a stab at a minimal cost solution to support Cripps or do they accept their window is gone and trade Curnow + others to blood youth before tassie join the comp.
Surely you jest?Brisbane Lions perhaps ?
Doubt very much that you get hung because the overwhelming sentiment is that Charlie has played conditional football of late and if he wants to go then bye bye. However because he signed a long term contract and pledged hus future to the club (and may have been rewarded by a front ended contract) then he only goes if it's an immediate win for the Blues. This means players that help fill gaps on our list immediately or help us get Cody Walker next year.I get hung on the blues page for saying this.
But trading Charlie is a good option.
Blind non football thinkers don't get it
Think I've said that.Doubt very much that you get hung because the overwhelming sentiment is that Charlie has played conditional football of late and if he wants to go then bye bye. On Tom Mitchell though it's a big no. We got rid of Matt Kennedy last year because we were too slow. Cooper Lord looks as though he will be very good so we have plenty if bulls. We need first receivers with pace and good disposal (hopefully Jagga Smith and Cody Walker will help there)
His inability to “Teach the kids” is the exact reason we moved him on.A club might look at signing him on minimum chips as a "Teach the kids in VFL" player with a future transition into coaching.
He isn’t really an upgrade on Will Phillips, who is still OOC.I think he would be a decent pick up for a team like North or Saints.
