I'm pretty sure guerra started on davey although i could be wrong. Davey was very dangerous as usual but nothing like what he did to us last time. I've never doubted Tom's effort, just his ability and he put paid to that tonight with an excellent performance.
This is spot on. Just watching the replay and Goo was certainly on Davey for at least his first goal.

best game i have ever seen by t.murph, did some good things and attacked the ball like i have never seen from him.Maybe Stratton is rubbing off on him

Yes I confess to not having much confidence in TM (in the past), but couldn't fault anything in his performance last night.....well done Tom & well done the MIGHTY HAWKS.......got a bit scary in the last quarter there......but what a game..........Buddy for PM :thumbsu:

Maybe it looked different on telly but that was the best game I have seen him play. He cops it when he's bad (and sometimes when he's not) so he deserves plenty of wraps for tonight. Well done Tom :thumbsu:

I concur, I am not his biggest fan but he played a great game...kudos to him :thumbsu:

Ok, I was at the Punt Rd end and saw someone sweep across half back at the city end to cut off and take a mark. I said "nice one Hodgey" and at that moment realised it was Murphy!

A couple of guys looked at me at we shared a laugh. But it was a good sign for Murph, best game I've seen him play. Well done son!

That was repeated on a few occassions up in P4/5. I'm one of those annoying people who tends to 'commentate' to myself, and cheer seemingly random acts (spoils, shepards, tackles, good body positioning, etc) rather than the goals (though I enjoy them too! ;).

I think I called out Hodge for a good mark 3 times only to find out it was Murph. Amazing what confidence can do for you.

He's gonna be a real pain. Gilla is tall enough but not strong enough, vice versa for Gibson, if he plays, but ultimately I reckon there'll be a few rotations and double teaming. Not for Murphy though, I wouldn't think.

Murph was good last night but i think GIBSON can perform better still ,Murph lacks the body and skills
