Much easier to list the carlton players I liked - unlikely to forget any that way.

Bruce Doull, Ken HUnter, Tommy Alvin, Glenn Manton and um........., no that's it.

Has to be Greg Williams on this list.... hated him, bastard was too good, didn't come across as the nicest of blokes either.

Also hate Kernahan because he pretty much is Carlton, the sight or sound of his stupid voice repulses me.

Mil Hanna I liked as a kid even though didn't understand how he didn't have a hair on his body... do now though.

Of current batch of scum Bryce Gibbs, Mitch Robinson and Dale Thomas, disgusted in myself that he used to be my favourite player.

And I also hate Judd for that farce he put us through, fancy narrowing it down to Collingwood or Carlton, making us wait 3 days convincing ourselves he was coming here and then he chooses Carlton... did they stage that to rub it in or what?

Dogs!

Vin Waite definitely. When I was 10 years old with Wayne Richardsons number on my back Vin Waite did something that gobsmacked me. Teams in the finals at MCG ran out of a race beside each other. Wayne Richardson was playing his 100th game so had a separate banner to run through. Carlton came out 1st and when Waite saw that banner he ran straight through it. That seared hatred for him into my soul.

He was a dog anyway but some of me can see what made him do it but gee the kid in me still hates him with abandon. No doubt he is burning in hell as we speak.

I didn't know that story and was going to like until last sentence, tad harsh. :straining:

Tad harsh or not harsh enough I can't decide. His was a bit of black humour in 1970. Just giving a little back. Pretty tongue in cheek

i was going to put vinnie on my initial list but i didnt want to mention his name in a family setting. i'm not sure if he was human. I heard that even his parents disowned him. only carlton was willing to give him a game. The rest of the league thought that playing him was outside the spirit of the game...

No biggy.
His reward was a decade of shitness.

I can imagine the crowd would be furious, that's almost more outrageous than Dermie breaking through the huddle! Surprised I've never heard that story before or seen it. Another reason to hate Carlton not that I needed one!

Cruellest of twists my Mum is a Carlton supporter and never usually resists a chance to rub something in...

Part of me would love it if a bomb went off in their changerooms so can understand your passion!

For real? I wasn't around so this is all news to me.

Was he worse than Muir? (apart from fact he was a Carlton player so of course he was)

Was he one of those players brought in especially to be a dog like Mal Brown and arguably his son?

Slightly off topic but was just googling the rivalry and found 3 top stories involving Jock McHale and Carlton.

Firstly most players from both teams in 1938 worked at the same brewery, McHale was the foreman. On eve of GF, McHale ordered Carlton's captain-coach clean beer barrels all day, while our captain Albert Collier was told to have the day off! :D

He also demanded showers be cold in their rooms at Vic Park, and legend also has it we deliberately installed very dim light globes so that opposition would take half a quarter to adjust to the sun! haha

And have to remind everyone of that glorious day of Nathan Buckley's 200th when we walloped those bastards by 108 points and consigned them to their first wooden spoon! ;)

Carry on listing these despicable creatures... Wayne Harmes is cheating scum, had a job ordering plastic bottles from VISY and had to tolerate him being the account manager...

My Granny still hates Sergio Silvagni, apparently punched back of head more often than ball...

Pardon the intrusion, but 1: Richard Pratt and his ****** out wifes hairdo ( corrupt as all ****, even worse than Elliot ). 2: chris judd ( 2nd filthiest player in the AFL ). 3: Anyone that pulled on a guernsey, or coached, or supported this team.

If I've over-stepped, I apologise. Hard to refuse a chance to sledge the scum.

Begs the question - who is your first filthiest player?

most loved carlton player....by a long way....

STEPHEN O'REILLY - played 12 games for them.

he cost them Pick 16, pick 46, $1m fine, pick 1, 2, 17 and 33 in the 2003 draft, pick 1 in the 2003 PSD, 1st and 2nd round picks in the 2004 draft.

good bloke :thumbsu:

and a big HI to the carlton board watching :D

I used some dramatic license..... but he was a bit of back pocket enforcer... mal brown never played football. vinnie did.
