They were close except I thought Sewell turned it over a bit while Mitchell was very good in his disposal
Mitchells use is still under rated, some of his delivery into our forward 50 when under the pump was sublime.
Where as Pendlebury was blah with his possessions with no hurt factor, he's not top 20 for me this year.

He's definitely not above Hawkins, Hayes, Taylor, S.Selwood, etc... he's been good, but now you're over rating him.

How could you say that he is definitely not above those players? Obviously you have not been watching much of Tuck this year or believe that reputation means more than output. Hopefully these stats will change your mind.

Against KPP it is difficult to compare but I do believe he has been more influential that Taylor. Eaglespremier rated each game separately and for him to come back with Tuck at 19 shows something. As I said around mid 20's.

Do people only bother reading one post in this thread? I'm the one who actually threw Tuck's name up and where I felt he should be. I didn't say "Tuck is a shit flog and shouldn't be in the top 600", just that while we're supposedly under rating him, in return Tigers fans are over rating him. It happens with every supporter base, deal with and put a bit more input rather then just backing in your own player.

Thomas the same as McKenzie? Give me a break.

Thomas was the match winner. He kicked 3 goals in 7 minutes in the 3rd quarter in a game where Collingwood won with 10 goals. He was pretty handy the rest of the night also ending up with 23 possessions. Without him Collingwood get done, it's that simple.

McKenzie on the other hand had 4 possessions.

How on earth do they both get 7's? Thomas may well be the most underrated player in the competition.

Don't be ridiculous.
Mackenzie spanked Cloke all game.
Thomas kicked three goals after a quiet first half.
Indeed his goals were the difference but I try to evaluate the full game.
His game may be worth an 8 but a full stop out job by Mackenzie on Cloke IMO is as good as what Thomas produced.

I think you are seriously overrating Cloke. He has been kept to 0 or 1 goal in 6 of his past 10 games.

MacKenzie only did what most blokes not named Schoenmakers have done this year. You can't ignore the fact he only had 4 touches.

Thomas on the other hand kicked kicked 30% of his teams goals, had 23 damaging possessions and proved he is right alongside Jimmy Bartel as the best big game performers in the AFL.

Reid was BOG for me, Pendlebury great also. Thomas was the match winner with his third quarter, hard to judge as he didn't do it all night but deserves an 8 or 9 I'd say. He is a great big game player though apart from last week against the Hawks he constantly produces the goods when needed.
