The only fathomable reason is that we had to let him go because of salary cap pressures. He would have been paid around $300k this year. Admittedly, he would be one of the last picke din the 22, but he still added depth to the side, and worth moer than the #15 draft pick you would have thought.
Although it does beckon the question as to why North? Aren't they supposed to be cutting back on player salaries? Why would they pick up a fringe player on an exorbidant wage?
