Couple of things reg Marcus Adams.

This year would have been difficult for him and maybe skewed his view of wanting to go home as he spent much of the year injured and that probably didn't help the way he felt with much downtime etc

I would also look at the possibility of getting his brother to Melbourne set him up job wise or even some role at the club, I think I read he was more than an ok footballer, worth a try.

We are happy to trade him only if the trade is right.

If we came out and said we want to trade him we would only a 2nd or 3rd pick at best.

This way wce will need to come to us with a deal like pick 12 for Adams and 18, so this way we might get the pick upgrade we are after.

Nope. Ive taken note of the trend - the more minutes he plays in the midfield, the worse his DE. Go back to my old posts and I was championing him going to the midfield, but slowly he has changed my mind.

In the AFL sense yes but he will be out of contract and able to get his way there with no problems. Hammer was one of our best on the GF and had no issues getting to WA so why would Adams suddenly need to do anything different?

To be fair Lewis and Mitchell cannot play forever.. Tom Mitchell is a good in.

O'meara could be a masterstroke if the unthinkable happens and he overcomes an injury that has never been overcome successfully
