If this May thing is true and I’m doubtful it is given it’s just Andy Maher but May would be a great get. Finally gives us someone to take on the big boys. Provides leadership. Provides plenty of the 3rd letter which we lack so much of.

Agree that Wingard was the ideal outcome.

Wouldn’t want 2 picks inside 15. One could get burned up for West which would make it pointless. Too big a gamble for me.

I’d double down on GC and offer next year’s first for Jack Martin while I’m at it.

Boyd can’t catch, Schache is going to be a solid player.

He’s right about our forward line. One of the worst in the league.

How do the Hawks afford it trade wise. They'll need to give up at least this and next year's first.
They've got zero young talent coming through. Going the way of Geelong.

Absolutely everyone seems to forget that at the core of Hawthorn's success was built on good early draft picks and then traded to stay in the window And most of those guys are done now They have traded to keep in the 8 Don't see Chad as the missing piece to their next premiership

There are things I value more than winning.

Out of interest would you have been happy to see Chris Grant running around in teal if it somehow guaranteed us a flag? It's a tough call but I wouldn't take it.

I’d take the flag. Every time I’m upset about turtle leaving I’d put on my premiership video and watch Darcy, Johnno, Bubba and Westy hugging and crying with each other.
