Swans get pick 9 for Papley and trade 9 for 13How?

I can't imagine someone would stick around at a team who actively chose not to put him into surgery for a stress fracture while the two teams that were interested in recruiting him told him to go the Crows and get surgery.

Then flipped for Daniher
Why don’t we trade some dead wood players for some more picks?Reckon Keath costs 45 and Bruce costs 32 + 51/53.
Unfortunately takes us out of the running for a couple of players I would have loved around the mid to late 2nd round mark but leaves us with 13, a late 3rd and a pick at the end of the draft which may just be used to upgrade a rookie.
Nothing magical but a good solid trade period plugging the most obvious holes on our list. 2020 will be an exciting year.
I think we should. Trouble is they are those picks wont help make any inroadsWhy don’t we trade some dead wood players for some more picks?
Differing medical opinions happen all the time.
Can you please elaborate on your clearly extensive medical background?? Many players have continued to play with this injury all depends on a medical staffs protocol in regard to the injury. Now I haven't seen the scans myself but almost all stress fractures can be conservatively managed without surgical intervention.

Feels like one of those weak bluffs where you know nobody's gonna fall for it but you feel you gotta give it a go anyway

I really don’t see how the Saints fans were getting so excited about this interview. I heard it and thought it was pretty weak.
Really s**t news about Keath.
Won’t start running until Feb next year which means virtually no preseason which means he’s likely to have an ordinary season. For as long as I can remember every player talks about interrupted preseasons leading to down years. Keath will be 28, we got him in for immediate results and we are not going to get it next year. Really, really bad news and I don’t blame the Dogs for downgrading his draft value accordingly.
Pretty average to trade in a guy at that age now knowing he’ll likely not be up and ready until the season has started. We should do the right thing by him but the value is impacted.Really feel sorry for Alex. Stress fractures can be really painful and impact on your confidence in your legs. Almost better off giving him a full preseason, while monitoring his legs and maybe have him playing games in July.
I would be surprised if the trade isn’t a late round pick or third pick downgrade.
You may be right about the seriousness of the injury but I don't accept the idea of plugging a hole and things will be fine. These weeks could be crucial to our fortunes next season especially if the draw pits us against some of the best key forwards in the business. The incumbent KPDs just don't fill me with any confidence.Injury seems overblown a bit. 3 months has him back in Jan and I'm sure there are things he can do to keep his fitness base up. Regardless if we have to plug a hole for 4 to 6 weeks we will be fine
