I do think there’s a solid chance that the club might be lowballing Dunkley’s contract offer. There’s every chance that they see Dunks as the most realistic option to re-balance the list. I don’t want to lose him but he’ll have a lot of currency and could be used to eventually acquire Lobb and a KPD.

We are probably offering Dunkley a reasonable contract but he’s probably out for more.

If we can nab Essendon pick 3 as part of the deal somehow whilst still holding our first round this year that’ll give us two top 10 picks to get some high end talent.

Would think there would be absolutely no chance they involve pick 3 without our 1st going back to them. In fact I don’t think dodoro would do it even if the trade was pick 3 for Dunkley and pick 9.

I think Richmond is a genuine option, especially if Dusty leaves. I think they would be comfortable parting with their first pick (hopefully 9 or 10) and some other stuff exchanging hands.

Tigers midfield is incredibly poor and lacking quality.

Was mentioned by Gossage on SEN WA that Lobb is not overly keen about the dogs because he wants to go to a contender.

Someone else mentioned that Melbourne would be a good fit for Lobb. Especially if Jackson leaves. Tend to agree that if they are keen we won’t stand a chance.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause any offence. I'm not sure what Zorko has to do with any of this.

I was trying to offer a constructive post with an opportunity for the dogs. I feel the way Rhys plays, and I know he isn't a superstar, but I think he plays very much to the the bev game plan. He gets a lot of the ball and knows how to draw a free kick or "flick" it out when needed.
Sounds good. In turn we can offer you Josh Schache back. He plays well against shit sides and doesn't turn up in finals. Skills obviously forged in his two pre-seasons at the Lions.
Perfect McStay replacement.

If we hold current form our first pick will be 7 there is no way we would be happy with Dunkley and pick 7 for pick 3 and slight extras.

Cerra went for pick 6 last year pick 3-4 for Dunkley with something like a second or third going back is fair.

Grant also added that star forward Aaron Naughton wouldn’t be pushed to the backline if Lobb joins the club, with key forwards Josh Bruce, Jamarra Ugle-Hagan and Sam Darcy all in the mix to play in the future.

“(Naughton) could be an amazing forward, so we wouldn’t want to take that opportunity away from the team or from him,” Grant responded.

“I don’t think that’s on the agenda… I don’t think that’s what the team really needs at the moment.”

In general premierships are built on good defence. I am not sure why the current regime believe we can be successful with a cobbled together backline.
KPD pillars are gold yet our recruiting and MC seem to think they are overrated. History tends to repeat in football.
Great teams are built on a great defence.,

Probably because the 2016 defence wasn't great one on one other than probably Morris..
