It's an opportunistic trade, not a trade for necessity. It's something that we need to remain firm on since we don't really need Lobb.

We used all our second & third round picks on other trades. Our future picks are all frozen now too, except for our fourth rounder. So you can have a future fourth round pick to take Lobb’s $750k salary off your books.

Agree to a degree, but there's difference between what we said (won't accept unders) and Bell simply saying it won't happen whatsoever.

Yeah he wouldn't be able to join another club. I think they fixed that with the Mal Michael rule.

Also in case it wasn't evident enough, its clearly just posturing by Bell at this stage given that we obviously haven't presented our final offer for Lobb. And he clearly isn't a hold at all costs type player.

Ie is Lobb completely untradeable even if we end up desperately offering a top 10 pick for him? (Not that we would offer such a pick, but you get my point)
