Sweet will go for a late pick or swap of late picks. It'll be no fuss. Neither club is going to be interested in haggling over a player like him.I don't really agree with that comparison. From memory, we offered Young a one-year deal, but he was very close to delist territory. We've had a two-year deal in front of Sweet for months. Our desire to hold Sweet is much higher than it was for Young. Also, Port are presumably looking at Sweet to be their #1 ruck next year, whereas Young was brought in as a speculative defensive option. Port's desire to bring Sweet in is a lot higher than Carlton's desire for Young was. With that said, I don't think Sweet is worth more than a 2nd or 3rd round pick, but I don't think we'll let him go for a token steak knife either.
