Apparently Saints gold ITK saying that Wilkie is staying.
If the ITK has club sources, not surprised that’s the info at this stage.
Few people in here saying differently, it’ll be interesting to see what happens.

But is Mr Dangerfield really worth his 500k per annum price tag for talking to kids?Dangerfields dad is "allegedly" involved with Geelong recruiting wise....and does the school ring around to see if they're of good character etc.
For every Mannagh that Geelong select, we select a McNeil. And persist with them for five seasons. Should’ve cut a few loose last year.
Yeah but running patterns!I've posted about this a few times but I'm going to keep posting until Sam Power and/or Bevo acknowledge it
Mannagh, Miers and Close had 17, 20 and 21 pressure acts last night after 24, 23 and 21 in the QF. Our small forwards avergae 9 and 9.5 pressure acts a game
The most VDM had in any game this year was 15, McNeil had just three over 15 (20 being the highest)
Mannagh is so damaging with the footy. Every possession hurts the other teamYeah but running patterns!
Also Mannagh and Miers are absolute elite ball users while Close is handy too. I keep saying it but our entire off seasons philosophy needs to be relentless pressure in all aspects of the game. You don’t bring pressure like your life depends on it you won’t play.
The difference though was that Richard’s had pace, a raking left foot and a far more physical footing in the game.Ed Richards is the perfect example here started his career a little bit half back but mainly half forward and couldn't get more then 15 disposals until his 5th year Sanders is already 16.5 and 18.57 after 2 years
Year 1: 14.57 disposals (21 Games)
Year 2: 11.65 disposals (20 Games)
Year 3: 10.76 disposals (17 Games)
Year 4: 13.60 disposals (5 Games)
Year 5: 18.45 disposals (22 Games)
Year 6: 21.21 disposals (19 Games)
Year 7: 21.38 disposals (21 Games)
Year 8: 25.78 disposals (23 Games)
Buss isn’t vanilla, he’s a slurpee with no flavour at all. I have more faith in Sanders than Buss. Some here are very harsh towards Sanders.
Vanilla or not. Hard to develop when you're an inside player getting stuck on outside roles. Personally he should have played some time in the VFL in the centre to develop more. I wouldn't be trading him when we have Libba and Treloar likely to retire at the end of next season, though wouldn't put it past Libba to keep on going.
The stuff people point out, can be improved. Richards was nothing for a few years until moved to half back. Some players are just slow burns.
And we will be back to square one of having a lack of young mids coming through entering a period of extremely compromised drafts if TAS gets approved. Freijah still goes for long periods of low impact games. Sanders was also very good in that Sydney game where Freijah stood out. Hynes has showed nothing yet at AFL level aside from some hardness and Martin like fend offs.
If Sanders is vanilla, then so is Busslinger. If we get Butts and Wilkie. He will suddenly find himself 5th in the pecking order. Until Lobb retires at least. Even he could be used are a bargaining chip.
But we need to protect our future. We keep getting the list unbalanced at the wrong time in terms of positional balance and age profile.
Phil Scully vibesBut is Mr Dangerfield really worth his 500k per annum price tag for talking to kids?
Just asking questions fellas.
My dad is a Saints supporter and tells me Leek Aleer and Silvagni are on 650k eachThe Aints are totally over the barrel with the Sword of Damocles of NWM’s two year deal and needing to show him they’re not a forever rabble (although he’s leaving anyway). There’s no way they have the stones to tell Wilkie to suck it up being on Aleer money. I’d respect them if they did. But I can’t think of a single time they didn’t get worked over on a contract/deal. And given it would be a disaster for them to bring in all the C graders and lose Wilkie, Marshall and Steele, the timing is perfect for him to name his price and watch the Saints bend over.

Saints aren't contending in the next two years. And as much as it causes their supporters emotional distress, Offloading one player for Draft capital, is better for their club in the long run.The Aints are totally over the barrel with the Sword of Damocles of NWM’s two year deal and needing to show him they’re not a forever rabble (although he’s leaving anyway). Saints management are aware of this, which is why they haven't released an official statement, whuch would put this to bed overnight. Because THEY ARE listening to all offers
JSOS and TDK (Who was hot and cold in a struggling Carlton team) wont transform them by themselves. They need this, If building around NAS is the top priority. Without key drafting, He's gone in two years.
Mate id trust you to pick the team more than Bevo .Where are Cleary,Poulter ,Baker ,VDM and McNeill? The spuds will be represented . They always have been. Have a look at JODs season in the light of day . Its unpleasant viewingJust say we get Butts and Buderick and then in draft we get Farrow or Dovaston and two kids - hopefully fullback and a ruck forward.
We would be in the eight - barring injury again:
FF: Weightman Darcy Artie
HF: West Naughton Croft
R: English Bont Libba
C: Davidson Richards Friejah
HB: Williams Lobb Dale
FB: Buderick Butts JOD
Int: Trelor, Kennedy, Dolan, Sanders, Bramble.
Thanks but being a coach would kill me! I can’t even watch a game without losing my sh!t.Mate id trust you to pick the team more than Bevo .Where are Cleary,Poulter ,Baker ,VDM and McNeill? Not true. I had it 100% from the horses mouth literally last night. Not over at all. Unlikely but not over. The longer it goes better our chances. Cant divulge how i know but my direct source is 100%. Anyone saying otherwise as of now doesn't know the true story.Apparently Saints gold ITK saying that Wilkie is staying.
