Tom Boyd.Yeah sorry there is no way the club trades Sanders, even if that included getting Butts. Even though I’d love to see us start making some tough calls and take some risks it’s just not gonna happen.
Let’s face it, we’ve always been ultra conservative when it comes to the trade period. I don’t think we’ll ever see a high risk/high reward trade done anytime soon.
. So do we think he will be good or not (genuine question)? I've always thought he has some elite poise and can freeze opponents with his fakes but the biggest issue is his confidence levels. Bigger then he plays and has a small burst of speed but rarely shows it. So how do we actually rate him?Log in to remove this Banner Ad
Boyd only happened because Griffen requested a move to GWS first. We were backed into a corner and had to retaliate.Tom Boyd.
Probably, but by then Bont and Libba are both 2 years older. I don’t think we need to be worrying about our long term future, we have plenty of young prospects. The focus needs to be on the here and now.Does Tassie offer more for Sanders when they come knocking though?
My thoughts on this trade period are two fold.Does Tassie offer more for Sanders when they come knocking though?
She is actually from Western Australia Sanders even said it in some interviewSanders also has a girlfriend in Melbourne lol
I know she is from western austraila but she plays for the Melbourne demons so there both in melbourneShe is actually from Western Australia Sanders even said it in some interview
I’m rather bullish on Hynes becoming an important rotating mid as wellIf Sanders is out the door when Tassie hits the league then yes but if he is still undecided then he is worth a lot more than a smallish KPD. Imagine if we get Butters what the future looks like with him Sander’s, Frejiah and Richards.
The worst part about trade week is when some journo or even some Bf poster puts out a rumour or comment about player X asking the question of player Y and then the pages of debate that follow in here about something that is almost certainly not going to occur.
I think a lot of people want to be optimistic due to a combination of training reports etc. from his first pre-season immediately after drafting him seeming really good, but also as a way to not have to face up to the fact that maybe we executed a bad trade to specifically trade up for him.I thought most people on this forum didn't rate Sanders. Did he spread himself around. I'll see myself out...Butters has toured the Dogs facilities.
For accurate speculation in the future, the cafe's new name is 'Alpha'. Coincidence?Part time job at Barkers?
Understanding players tour facilities all the time but surely Butters wouldn’t tour now if he wasn’t genuinely interested in coming across for next year. We just need him to request a trade & then Port will buckle.
Zak Jones, Zak Butters and Jordan Butts has a lot of synchronicity. Would make us serious contenders next year.
