What would it take to get Jamarra to the Dogs?

I've also been wondering why it hasn't been floated that port could still acquire picks for this year and trade them on for future 1sts. Sure it's been considered a weak draft class, but 2025 1st round picks still hold similar value to other years, and could technically be worth more than the highly impacted Tassie drafts for some teamsIf the club really believes they’re a likely destination for Butters next year, do we think there’s a chance we trade our first this year into next year?
Port already traded out of the first round of this draft and are actively trying to trade out completely, instead opting to upgrade 2 or 3 rookies and take a maximum of one live pick.I've also been wondering why it hasn't been floated that port could still acquire picks for this year and trade them on for future 1sts. For anyone that missed it about Carlton having pick 40 on the table for Buku

I'd just take it and move on. What's the difference in a few spots?I’d rather keep him than let him go for pick 40
Ahh okay, I didn't realize the talent drop-off was quite that dramatic in this year's draftPort already traded out of the first round of this draft and are actively trying to trade out completely, instead opting to upgrade 2 or 3 rookies and take a maximum of one live pick.
Outside of the top 8 picks there is next to no market for first rounders this year, the perceived weakness of this draft and comparative strength of next years draft is seeing next years firsts, especially those tied to clubs projected to miss finals be in higher demand.
Wouldn’t 77k to Geelong be like 50c to mewhile we are waiting on more trade news...
Our recruitment team has some solid history with picks in the 40s. For that reason alone I’d take it.I’d rather keep him than let him go for pick 40
Who wants a nice girlI’m sure he can find a nice girl in Adelaide. Ok maybe not

Basing list management decisions around the fact that we somehow have some magical ability to assess talent that other clubs don't specifically in one (or for that matter any) region on the draft one of the more silly things I've read on this thread. Our recruitment team has some solid history with picks in the 40s. I think that’s a perfectly acceptable reason to be happy with pick 40 for a fringe player that likely will play VFL next year.Basing list management decisions around the fact that we somehow have some magical ability to assess talent that other clubs don't specifically in one (or for that matter any) region on the draft one of the more silly things I've read on this thread.
Need to be re-signing him ASAP. Should get a nice pay bump too if he continues on his trajectoryTwomey reporting Sanders won't be traded but is a watch for next year.
️So he’ll have that threat hanging over him for the next twelve months, nice.Twomey reporting Sanders won't be traded but is a watch for next year.
Makes little sense - Surely if he was leaving for greener pastures, He would just wait for Tassie to come knocking in 2027. Why pack your bags in the 2026 Off-season for what undoubtedly would be less money and importance than Tassie's warchest would bring the following off season period?Twomey reporting Sanders won't be traded but is a watch for next year.
Isn’t he OOC end of next year?Twomey reporting Sanders won't be traded but is a watch for next year.

Sure, but it's not because we should have any expectation to be able to pick better than league average at the draftI think that’s a perfectly acceptable reason to be happy with pick 40 for a fringe player that likely will play VFL next year.

Guy who is contracted through to next year is considered a watch for when he may or may not be out of contract.Twomey reporting Sanders won't be traded but is a watch for next year.
