Fabrizio?Here we go!!!
So a good one on one defender and third man up wouldn't a help a team who have poor one on one defenders? When you can't win if you concede more than 50 inside 50s I think it's probably more of an issue with what's happening in the backline than just the excessive pressing forward.Spot on. Been saying this for ages. Add Harris Andrews to our side this year and we’ll still leak goals galore. It’s on the coaches now also.
Lets hope they manifest a key defender or we're cookedThey’re manifesting something, let them cook

So we just have to hold out for next year while Butters sleeps on someone's couchSA media just in reporting Butters has committed to Port for next year

Nothing quite like hanging out with Essendon players to make you recommit to your existing clubSA media just in reporting Butters has committed to Port for next year

I recommend those who think a key defender will fix our defensive issues, listen to this.
I just want to us take some sting out of the game when the opposition has some momentum rather than make zero changes.Am I meant to applaud that supposed "Footy Minds" have only now realised now that our style isn't sustainable?
Footscray supporters have been stating this after every loss, for at least two years.
The idea around recruiting a Star KPD is about allowing Beveridge to Save his all out offensive cake and not leak goals the other end.
Curnow to Geelong May open the door for us to extract a defender from Geelong
I would turn him away purely for his horribly ugly face. I’m not turning up to look at that thing every week.Always wanted Henry
Remarkable from a manager. Can’t recall one ever potting a club like this.
Pickering has given bevo a few drive bys, not as bad as this though.Remarkable from a manager. Can’t recall one ever potting a club like this.
That’s because the AFL wanted Buddy to go to one of their nepo baby’s. On what basis could they do it with Geelong? If Geelong get Curnow, surely they get a trade ban? Sydney did when they got Franklin.

Instead they bring in a rule that allows such deals for one year only. They had no reason to do it with Sydney, but they did. They make rules up on the run, didn't you know?
They had a reason, it may not be a valid reason, but a reason nonetheless. Fitzpatrick and Demetriou were ropable with SydneyThey had no reason to do it with Sydney, but they did. They make rules up on the run, didn't you know?
Our mids got burnt the other way way too often against freo in the last round. Would love to say its an isolated incident but thats just not the truth. We need someone to play the dunkley role. Jenkins suggests Bont which is absolutely ludacris even though he would be the best at it. Hes the best at everything so find someone else to do that job. Matt Kennedy? Can still rest forward and get on the scoresheet.I know we were the number one in points against last year but I feel like we still weren't a good defensive team like Johnno was suggesting. We had a couple of outstanding games against good teams (Sydney and Geelong) that we didn't have this year but for the majority it was similar to this year where we were just beating up on bad teams and keeping them to zero scores, so I agree in part with Jenkins
We were absolutely flying in the second half of last year, I think that is probably the game plan working to its highest effect as evidenced by the Sydney and Geelong commanding wins. And even when we were at our best we still conceded cricket scores pretty much every four weeks (Brisbane, Port, Adelaide and Hawthorn in the final) because the second our midfield didn't dominate the defense was vulnerable
