After a great season who do you think should move on?

Here's my thoughts.

Craig Callaghan - I think he's had his time
Brett Moyle - I don't think he'll ever break into the saints midfield or fowrard line. maybe defence.
Daniel Wulf - Will we ever forgive him? No!
Justin Peckett - I don't think he'll have much more impact.

I think S. Kilda maybe need to trade one of our midfielders for a defender.

Trade Moyle - For a draft pick, Suitabley between pick 31 and 35
Dainel Wulf - Draft Pick 45-55
Leigh Fisher + Trent Knoble - Sandilands
1st round draft pick: Darren Bradshaw, we need someone to take a second tall down there. Maguire can do it, but doesn't have the size IMO.

Delist:
Justin Peckett
Craig Callaghan
Andrew Thompson - Maybe one more year.

Keep:

2nd round DP, 3rd round DP and any we have regained, give up the others.

Rest of team.

Brooks

I think it is a bit premature to start talking of delisting Brooks.

He has been given a few chances in the ones but has suffered a serious injury. Admittedly he hasn't made a real name for himself in the twos yet, but give him time. Big men often take time to develop, especially ruckmen. I hope he will get a couple of years before the knives come out. Jeez the guy cost us an arm and a leg to get (pick 6 and pick 34 I think) - you don't just throw that sort of investment away. I still have him in my 2006 dream team.

Swap for Troy Simmonds.

Moyle would have to attract interest from Carlton

Brett Moyle has played his last game of AFL. He will not attract interest from anyone. It's a shame to say, cause i liked him as a player but he's too slow for anyone to take any interest in him, and at 23-24, doesn't make him very attractive to other clubs

Brett Moyle = Tony Brown.

I asked because i thought you didn't have much salary cap space. Especially now that he's worked so hard this year. His $$$ has surely gone up.

Okay, as a Hawks supporter that has no idea what you mean by this, I'll bite.

Forgive him for what exactly? That hitting the goal post thing from 10m's out?

That's about the only thing I can think of, harsh if it's that.

How many games has he played since then? :D

From what I can gather, he is coming to the end of a lucrative three year deal. If he is expecting to sign a similar deal, I'm not sure if we could afford to keep him. Ideally he will take a pay cut on his next deal but he has a young family and may seek out a better deal. Whether our supporters accept it or not, we have a few exceptional young kids that have to be retained and we may have to lose someone like Black to remain under the salary cap.

I'm not sure if Ritchie is talking about the fact that he missed the goal and cost us the game or that he actually had the audacity to intercept the pass and by scoring that point he cost us a priority pick at the end of the season. And yes, I know we had priority picks in 2000 and 2001 as it is. ;)

Either way, Wulf hasn't done enough at Springvale this season to justify keeping his spot on the list and that's really disappointing. I really thought he was good enough to make it.
