We are giving up 15 and Greenwood. More than fair trade. I think people on BF forget that top picks don't always make it. North is taking all the risk here giving a gun for a chance to get something back.

Yeah all the risk...lets give up a B+ grade midfielder for pick 4. You know it, I know it. Massive unders. Swallow, Ziebell or someone like that.

Greenwood is solid player but I wouldn't say he is a gun. He is rated highly at the roos and not sure other clubs would rate him as much.

Classic case of over rating your talent, he has had one good season. Would be a fringe player at the hawks and swans.
Would be competing against shiels at the hawks. Point I'm trying to make is greenwood is probably worth a real late first round pick or early second and he is probably worth more to north than other clubs.

Except a BIG loss for Collingwood. They would just take pick 4 and head to the draft. The Pies need to replace Cloke long-term anyway, mids are not their only target. They could easily get Durdin who replaces one of their defenders. I repeat Greewood IS NOT worth pick 4 in any shape or form.

Doggies get a forward they so desperately need and another tough inside midfielder. Both players are young and are more valuable than their first rounder.

Sydney get salary cap space from Tom Mitchell and send reid to a club that is still a couple years away from competing. They lose jetta but gain wellingham who can play inside and on the wing, Josh hill can play medium forward and push up the ground, garlett offers small forward crumbing, tuohy is insurance for malceski and shaw while Sinclair adds depth to ruck stocks. And gain a first rounder.

Carlton get a solid player in Higgins which allows flexibility, Jones can have a chance up forward and mitch brown can slot straight into the backline.

West coast gets outside run in jetta and Henderson can play either forward or back. Playing him forward could allow darling more time up the ground.

Carlton making out like bandits there Coxy, not only do we give up our most important KP player but our first choice half back and draft pick to boot for a free agent and a fringe defender.....I think we need to throw in Gibbs and Menzel to even things up.

We are getting more in the draft so we don't really need pick 4. But we won't straight swap it for Greenwood there would have to be at least some steak knifes.

You can easily get a quick mid at 4 or take Durdin or whichever tall you want. Greenwood is not really needed for the Pies
