I'd take melbournes 2nd rounder for Boxer. He did win the Liston medal last year. What would the chances of Hallahan Grimley snagging 2round and Blease?

Of course you would take a pick in early 20's for hallahan. It's well overs for him.

Our 2nd rnd pick may not even be in play if someone forces us to use it on Stretch.

Hallahan would be a pick in the 40's at best. I see him in the near identical position to Viv Michie from Freo last yr (strong team, limited opportunities & excelling at WAFL/VFL level)

That's the realistic value of Hallahan.

I've heard straight from his mouth that he wants to play at Carlton next year.
He wanted to go to either the hawks or tigers last year but roos convinced him to stay.
After this year though he has hates Melbourne and wants a fresh start.

Mick is going to cull this type of player this year. Blease may want to play for Carlton all he likes but unlikely Carlton want him.

We had Buckley, Walker, Henderson, Thomas, Murphy, Kreuzer, Robinson & Everitt missing yesterday they would all walk up in our starting 22. Prefer Sheehan to Blease - we seem to like our bulky-fiery Irishmen.

I'd give Hallahan a little more value than Michie, only on the basis that he isn't as injury prone and has played more than three-quarters of AFL footy.

What did we trade Michie for? 54 or something? I suppose that gives Hallahan a 40s pick like you said....

So I've just gone around in circles ...

With Cam O'Shea to St Kilda being a rumour, I've read on the Port board that Saints fans would offer their 3rd rounder (37), Dogs fan even offered their 2nd rounder (24).

Interested to hear the thoughts of Vic club supporters about him and what you would offer?

the way that article was written, it made it sound like the deal had been done and that Oshea had nominated the saints and the two clubs had come to an agreement

question is..what is the price?

Yep. If a player quits a team they won't be a delisted FA. Player must be delisted by club, a player that delists himself can't be a DFA.
so he will have to be drafted again, is that right

Pretty sure. Or traded if he wants to avoid the draft.

Kind of like Lamb last year. Because he delisted himself from the Swans, he went into the PSD.

They are delisted from the first list lodgement one week after the trade period because even if the player has quit can still be traded. If no trade then player is delisted as free agent.

The club may choose to still delist him, like Roberton at Freo.

Apparently O'Shea told a fan on facebook that he never heard of the rumours of him going to Saints and said he is going nowhere. Pretty much squashing a rumour that lasted no more than 2 days.

They might. But the discussion was based on Milera's decision to quit the club ;)
Citing a precedent. Besides, the club's statement says he wants to return to SA subject to trade, we're nowhere near 'decision to quit the club' yet

will we start to hear a few delistings this week coming after mad monday? or will clubs likely wait off?

Crows fans what would mckernan be worth? Seems out of favour. Third or fourth rounder?

A few weeks ago there was rumour on the Collingwood board that we are planning to trade brown and our second rounder for Mitchell, is it a reasonable offer? (I suggested this and it was laughed at)_
