How about

Rhyce Shaw to Richmond for like your Kayne Pettifer/Ty Zantuck/Aaron Fiora types?

Rhyce Shaw to Hawthorn for Nathan Lonie?

Leon Davis to West Coast for Damien Adkins or Chad Morrison?

Mark McGough for players like Tristan Cartledge (Ess), Stuart Dew, Thurstans, Leigh Harding, Amon Buchanan, Gilbee, McGuiness types?

Of course lower (3rd round onwards) draft picks to even things out.

I have focused on less important players as we seem reluctant to deal with any thing major.

Do we want Hank Crawford if he is going to leave???

Equitable trade agreed!!!!!

But Im not interested in Rys Shaw and cant see why you would be interested in those above players.

Just an idea I had and I cant really see Richmond giving up anyone else... I don't want to work out trading draft picks so i'll just stick to players.

I also have no problems seeing these players traded or delisted:
Davidson- too many problems outside football. (Trade)
Davis- would rather see him play well in his home state. (Trade)
Kinnear- we've given him too long.(Delist)
Lokan- isn't really developing as he should but could be 2nd year blues.(Trade)
McGough- no place in the team.(Trade)
McKee- we've already got Fraser, Richards, C.Cloke, Crow etc(Delist)
Mullins- no place in the team.(Trade)
Nixon- no place in the team.(Trade)
O'Bree- skill level for a senior player is too poor and isn't as commited as others.(Trade)
R.Shaw- seems to be out of favour.(Trade)
Swan- too many problems outside of football.(Trade)
Tarrant- too many problems outside of football.(Trade)
Williams- looks to have put on weight. No place in the team.(Delist)

Players:McGough, Mullins, Nixon and O'Bree are the same sort of player being too slow and not overly tough like Scott Burns for example. If no trade could be organised than have no problem keeping them on the list.

Players:Swan, Tarrant and Davidson are not completely interested in playing football and have been seen at a popular Melbourne nightclub engaging in illegal substances after matches. Again would keep them if no trade was available.

Players: Davis and Shaw need to be moved on to further their careers as they have issues with being at Collingwood. Davis would play better if he was in his home state and we would get a fair deal for him if we traded now. Shaw is out of favour with MM and after his perfomances on Judd and Akermanis should be traded while value is still high. Again would keep them if no trade was available.

I think its a possibility, richie_cole#13. Its just one of those trades that can happen and yet doesnt excite nor upset supporters of either side when it does. You just dont feel you have come out any better or worse.

Its the type of trade that could happen depending on whether Wallaces' opinion of Rys Shaw maybe exceeds Malthouses'. The latter doesnt seem to high at the moment.

As for the three Richmond players I cant say i would miss them hugely but perhaps Malthouse thinks he can get them to a new level.

Bite the bullet Collingwood.

Put up for trade:
Cole, Davidson, Davis, Didak, Hall, Holland, Johnson, King, Kinnear, Leonard, Lokan, Lonie, Maxwell, McGough, McKee, Morrison, Mullins, Nixon, O'Bree, Presti, Rowe, Shackleton, Shaw, Shaw, Shaw, Swan, Williams, Woewodin.

Surely you'd have to get something decent out of some of those.

Keep:
Buckley, Burns, Clement, Cloke, Cloke, Cloke, Fraser, Licuria, Lockyer, Richards, Rocca, Tarrant, Wakelin, Walker.

I didn't realise how many dud players Collingwood had on their list, it makes you appreciate how much Malthouse has got out of your list (and how little Frawley has got out of Richmonds)

I find it amazing how many Richmond supporters amoungst plenty of others rate their lists above Collingwoods. Surely a list that plays in two GF's compares more than favourably to lists that have languished for so long in the depths of mediocrity.

Rate the list by performance not by your blinding hatred of all things better than Richmond.

Be careful what you write richie_cole13 that's not far off defamation. Just because these three players have had off field incidents doesn't mean they are using illlegal substances. I would be very surprised if they had, but even if they did it's a fair bet most AFL players have, along with most 20 to 25 year olds in society.

I have a feeling the Pies are going to drop a bombshell by trading Chris Tarrant. We should trade Presti and O'bree for their number 3 pick. Hopefully the doggies go for this.

There is no way the pies will trade Tom Davidson. We will get very little for him. He may still yet turn put to be a very good footballer.

Why not just sack everyone and start again
Get a grip:rolleyes:

Chance Bateman is a waste of time.
Rather have McGough

I think not.

McGough was great in 2002 but now he struggles for a game. Although he is great at getting the ball, his disposal by foot is terrible.

Chance Bateman would be a great HFF for us but i very much doubt Hawthorn would give him up for a one game wonder.

Dont think hawks would want to do that deal. Chance is up and comin for us, and i read that he is keen to stay on at hawks

thats quite ridiculous. why dont we just save time, and kept adkins a few years back and just given west coast leon davis for nothing.

andrew williams is gonna get delisted anyway.

I know that chris tarrant WONT probably get traded, but 4 some reason he did would any1 be happy with tarrant & presti for harley & wodjinski... that would strenghen our backline and add pace 2 our side, but then we r still left up the creek without a star foward

once again, another thread dedicated to the overexageration of how bad our list is, and overdramatising the action that should be taken.

OUR LIST DOES NOT NEED TO BE REVAMPED.
