I think he's kicked 4 once up forward.
Averaged about a goal a game.

He can play there's no doubt, it's more a question of whether he can play...

Definitely agree. I was quite keen on Ballas to start with but have gone cold on the idea. I personally hope we manage to get SPP, Bolton, Ryan and waterman in this draft.

They are still a certified cot-case in regards to football administration so it's probable. Lets hope we are ready to snap them up.

Vardy was my first preference. Still only 25 and had the most ability of all the available / cheaper options open to us. Just needs to stay fit.

That would give us 5 ruckmen on our list in 2017, can't see us drafting Cameron if/once we sign Vardy.

I don't really get why so many people are keen to shift McGovern forward at the earliest opportunity. He's one of the best KPDs in the AFL, and there has been nothing to suggest that he will be as dominant as a forward.

How many backman do we need. Plus I refer to my very earlier post in this thread. Pavlich started as an AA backman. What would you prefer an AA defender or forward? If McGovern works as a forward he eventually replaces Kennedy. Barrass at one end McGovern at the other sounds good to me

I agree but I'd love to see GC make an example of the Hawks and send him to the draft. The melts would be delicious (they would still probably pick him up anyway).

SPP, Bolton, Ryan & Waterman - would be an amazing draft. But we would need to nab another pick in the top 25

We all thought we'd be in with a shot at Bennell, Swallow, Martin, JOM, etc. when they first drafted them.

There is actually evidence he can play forward, in 2014 he started his career fwd.

Kicked 1 goal, 2, 3, 3, 2, inj, 2 - then played def.
So he kicked 13 in 6 games - he'd be a 50 goal forward.
