Well, you do realise it's compulsory to pay 92.5% or something of your salary cap which Richmond is just doing. You will find there are a few at the club that are getting paid more than they should But to say he is worth nothing is garbage. When as I said, other supporters are asking high draft picks for players not even playing regular AFL games. his front-loaded part of his contract was 350k so 350k x 2 + his minimum year in 2012 hardly equals 400k per year.

your club finished % and half a game in front of us,your older,gilbee,hall,hahn,hudson have retired.you have know established key forward,your starting ruckman are minson or as yet none establihed roughhead.there is no reason why lake will stay or get back in form.higgins form mainly due to injury is a concern.ward left you for big bucks.you have a new coach,oh and how did the drafting of your recycled players go for you this year-djurreka,sherman,vespremi-only one winner there.if you think that your team is as superior to ours as much as it has been in recent years you are kidding yourself.by the way maric might not be a gun but for a 3-4 year mature body to give us a chance at centre bounces who do you have that is better?

I already said I am not fussed atm. We need to be patient to get quality.

To appease the desperates Maric will do for 5 years (3 year contract)or so as a for a 3rd rounder. Worse case for Maric backup ruckman.

Ideally, Clarke or a real youngster(17 year old) but no need for RFC to rush, GC have to offload rucks and most other clubs are overloaded with ruckman. Forwards,backs and mids are our biggest need!

I have seen worse. It is not that bad, and I have faith in the WA guy. Vick should improve, Browne can only improve.

Don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but i heard that Brad Dick from the pies is being traded in a straight swap for Jordan Jones from wce so both who have received little opportunity can move back to their home states and start fresh. Jones is a gun and dominated WAFL but wasnt given a chance at WCE.

If true, from a West Coast perspective, I'd do this trade. West Coast have a heap of half backs/back pockets and players like Jordan Jones and Lewis Stevenson (who was linked to Collingwood in an article a few weeks back) have struggled for games since they are behind Hurn, Waters, Adam Selwood, Butler, Smith, McGinnity and Sheppard. Add in the fact we drafted Blayne Wilson and Jacob Brennan last year, West Coast is well stoked in this area.

While Dick has been injury prone, if he gets his body right, he is a ready made player who fills a need of West Coast, a crumber who can provide defensive pressure.

jolly not a good tap ruckman?may not be fantastic around the ground but very decent ruckman.geelong-vardy,west,ottens.haw-bailey,renouf,roughhead.all these guys no matter how short or long a time helped there teams make the finals.if jolly is no good then his contribution to collingwood winning one grand final and making another,plus his time at sydney when they were red hot must just be pure luck!

In the West Australian today, it said the trade was talked about between Tippett, Ebert and Clark all going to there home states in a 3 way. So i guess that rumour was true. Eagles would need to put in a pick but Ebert wants to go to Port and Port only.

So eagles would need to give away Masten + pick to get Clark otherwise it looks like Fremantle will get him, somehow.

Hypothetically if Danger went to Melbourne a fair trade would be on of the $cully compo picks and a 1st round pick alternately you can just give us Trengrove.

Given he's uncontracted and they have a tight salary cap a simple 3 rd pick would probably get the job done. White is still a required player

Agreed.Till now was thinking Hardwick and co was getting it right,but wwhat the hell are we doing chasing Maric.He's in his mid 20s and can't get a regular game with crows,but we are chasing him,but wait,"there's more",hope all u oppositon supporters get ready for your yearly laugh at Richmond when we offer something ridiculous for Maric.Seriously,anything more than a 3rd rounder for Maric and i'll be on the phone abusing them till they hang up then recalling for a whole hour.Do these idiots at tigerland ever learn!
