I'm confident I read that Crouch will be finishing studies this year.

Turns 18 on 12th of Jan next year, would be surprised if he wasn't in his final year of studies now.

Terry Wallace on Sports Radio over here just said the mail at Trade Week where he's been all day is Adelaide are into the Bombers Cale Hooker in a big way, looking for a KPD to replace Davis.

I still have visions of his hopeless chase on Buddy Franklin where he absolutely "blew up" god knows it's been replayed enough!!!!....

Isn't it now set to "repeat" from earlier on in the day?

What I loved about that is even though hooker was never going to catch buddy, he never gave up, unlike MJ chasing boomer last year

I don't doubt we're into him, and I'm not gonna let the Buddy chase bother me too much, but I just can't imagine we've got the currency left to make a trade???

We draft Dangerfield, he's allowed to play, but he stays in Victoria because he needs to complete his HSC the next year

If the afl didn't want GWS to keep the mini draft picks because they wanted them to pick up mature age players, why didn't they stop them from swapping mini picks for picks?
Surely the only difference between picks and mini picks is one year?

He did but I'd be happy to pick him on the cheap as a stop-gap in defense, I think he's 27 or so, was okay for GC before he tore his hamstring off the bone I think

Too much for a young ruckman with plenty of AFL experience and proven AFL ability?

Maric is no star but pick 37 in a relatively weak draft is hardly a coup. If we didn't have Jacobs, Maric would be more than capable of being our no.1 ruckman. He's far from a dud and the compo pick is exactly what he's worth.
