This year's draft is supposedly a "Super Draft" whereas 2011 wasn't anywhere as good.
In that sense, I would not trade Toy for pick 28.
At this point, he would be worth a 2nd-3rd Round pick.

Saints would be better off getting Gilham from us for a 4th-6th rounder

75% of their side appears to be over 2meters tall when we play them so somehow, coupled with having Cox, I think they'll politely decline on the Bailey offer...

If Brad wanted to leave you would not hold a grudge, he has been up for trade for a few years.....so what does he owe Hawthorn?

My personal opinion is Buddy will stay at HFC.....as long as his little bum chum Gibbo is there....so strategy is sign them both up.....

Carlton have sent unrestricted free agent Jordan Russell to Collingwood in exchange for pick 71 in the national draft.​

First of all i thought FA was over, but even if it wasn't, a player could walk to any club of there choice if there was interest.​

So how did Carlton manege to get pick 71 from Collinwood for Unrestricted FA Player?????​

Toy's manager Liam Pickering said today he didnt think a deal would be struck before tomorrow's 2pm deadline. If this is the case I believe he will be delisted as Gold Coast have agreed to help him return to Melbourne next year. As I understand it he would then be eligible for the next stage of free agency and we could pick him up for effectively nothing more than a spot on our list.
It shaping up that Gilham could leave us and find a new home in similar circumstances. If this happens we could bring in Toy for Gilham in what would effectively be a straight swap which would seem more favourable than the majority of trades that have been suggested to bring Toy to the club.

There is a free agency period for delisted players....this is before the draft.

November 1 – Commencement to Gillette AFL Delisted Player Free Agency Period.
November 13, 2pm – End to Gillette AFL Delisted Player Free Agency Period.


November 23 – Second Gillette AFL Delisted Player Free Agency Period commences.
November 28, 5pm – Second Gillette AFL Delisted Player Free Agency Period ends

I think GC will delist him. They are not going to get anything for him anyway so they might as well. As for Toy choosing Hawthorn, that really is the million dollar question.

He can take a strong grab and add plenty of forward pressure as a strong body player at:
