I think they may still be on break or just getting back from break

Hopefully it's not too light a training session tomorrow because of the weather

Found it thy and have the panoramic pics of you and the goat in the motel room. Great lighting. Really captured the night. The whipped cream just jumps off the glossy paper.
Pick them up when you are passing by.

Cheers, big fella. That whistle-stop trip to Perth is still a bit of a blur. :thumbsu:

^Suspended....

Labi was absent, I didn't see Hendo or Hadley either...

Cachia is an absolute unit and seemed to train really well. The coaches were getting stuck into Garlett for coming last during a running drill.

Murphy was once again doing light running and obviously has a niggle of some sort.

I know it is said a lot, but Yarran is silk. His kicking skills really do stand out.

Great to hear about how well ROK is going. He seems to be really putting his head down and working hard and I can't wait to see him debut.
Kane Lucas- what a pick up, I havent really heard a negative comment about his training, which is a great sign.
Haven't been able to make it down to training since the new recruits arrived which is annoying, fingers crossed I'll get down there soon and can see the boys that are getting good feedback on here.
Because I havent been able get down there, I just wondering how Gibba's training? Has he bulked up much?

Here we go:

Got down a bit early today, so started taking some photos of the new facilities (to be uploaded later). The boys came out on time, but straight out of the development centre, so my guess would be they were doin some conditioning work before they came out.

They went about their usual warm-up, jogging around the ground, side steps, high-knees etc. Riley was directing traffic, Ratten wasn't out there today either, no idea why. Afterwards they went off into pairs and started a short session of kick to kick. Murphy started off in the main group, and didn't look to be in too much discomfort.

Then they broke off into four groups, i kept my eye on one group, two players would have a ruck contest and tap the ball down, then four players would run to the contest and have to crumb the tap. Armfield looked impressive here, as did Ando.

Afterwards the the group split up and went into the forward fifty at the development centre end, the exercise was about goalkicking. The players would rotate through set shots, handball receive and shot, and crumbing shots. I've gotta say, Yarran was absolutely superb here, his hands at ground level were fantastic, as well as his ability to find the goal. Also interesting to note that Touhy was training today, couldn't see Labi out there but Touhy did fairly well. At this point Murphy broke off from the rest of the group and started running laps with ROK, Austin, Hampson, Casboult and Fisher.

Next was a 4 on 4 simulation drill where the ground was split length ways, the groups would have to try and score a goal at either end of the ground. Judd absolutely toweled up AJ, who looked like he was spent. Kreuzer was also brilliant, his work under pressure was fantastic, his skills and vision are really a joy to watch. He also showed some skill down forward, ROK had the ball from a mark and Kreuzer was in the goalsquare one on one with an opponent i couldn't make out (may have been Jamma but don't quote me on that). He pushed off his opponent, called for the ball and lead to space, ROK delivered it beautifully to the big man who took it right out in front, great play all round. Russell also impressed with his running.

For the final part of the session the group split in half for two minute (approximately) laps. Brock, Judd and Gibbs led one group, whilst Wiggo impressed in the other. Also good to see that Yarran was mid-pack, a great performance from him today.

Interesting notes:
It's Fisher's birthday today, happy birthday to him.:thumbsu:
Scotland and Fisher both finished early (no sarcastic comments plase:p), both headed into the development centre.
Touhy looks pretty good, and seems to be fitting in with the boys pretty well, strange that he's training and not Labi though. (as far as i could see)
Also wondering why Ratten hasn't been there for the past two sessions? Anyone have any word on that?

I'll upload some photos either late today or tomorrow, enjoy.:)

I've only been to training twice now, but Gibbs really lays low from what I've seen.
Runs middle pack and seems to quiet on the field.
He is actually quite easy to miss all round.

Others vision may differ of course. :)

Thanks : )

That's interesting,
He's training well though??

He's not falling behind or anything by the sounds of it, so thats good.

He was running at the front of the pack with McLean and Judd for a time and he stayed back after most other players had cleared off to help out Kreuze and Jacobs in a rucking drill. He looked sharp and I expect big things from him.
He took some absolutely shocking snaps at goal though! :D

Was his the one that bounced off the roof of the development centre?:D
