Trying to trick the oppp track watchers this early in pre season. Fly is a geniusMitchell in 3, Pendles in 30
Wouldn't read anything into it.

I'll put this up now for those interested. Btw, Johnson? Dead.. dead dead last. Over 2 mins behind Nick.

Maybe he's keen to play closer to goal.A lot of work to do![]()

Did the more senior players not participate? Sidey usually clocks in a 6.10-20 doesn’t he?A lot of work to do![]()

It was the 1st to 4th year players, plus whoever else wanted to turn up.Did the more senior players not participate? Sidey usually clocks in a 6.10-20 doesn’t he?
I know who was there. I’m asking who participated in the 2km. Sidey was there today, and judging by those times he would have waltzed in first unless he’s dropped off significantly, which is why I was asking if some of the older boys who were there didn’t participate. It was the 1st to 4th year players, plus whoever else wanted to turn up.
Pendles was there - he always is, which is why he is capable of entering his EIGHTEENTH season.
Judging by the footage of the start there’s quite a few that didn’t run.I know who was there. I’m asking who participated in the 2km. Let's not forget that Ash did have a pretty bad hamstring injury so his time may reflect that. Fitness and medical staff maybe taking a cautious approach with him.If he's more than two minutes behind Nick, that's an almost 9.00 2k. I'm pretty surprised because I do about 8.30, and I'm 38 and never played sports at a high level or anything. Almost a credit to him to be able to play at the the level despite being at such a disadvantage with his fitness. Has some good scope for improvement if he can crack in this pre-season.
Tony Shaw played upfield and managed alright, after all it's about being where the ball is going and being organized mentally enough to put it to the advantage of a team mate before being tackled.Hill seemed a long way back for a smaller bloke who’s wanting to play up on a wing etc. Perhaps he’s carrying a niggle
Yeah i think Shawy would be stuffed these days with pushing up and down the mids doTony Shaw played upfield and managed alright, after all it's about being where the ball is going and being organized mentally enough to put it to the advantage of a team mate before being tackled.
Speed is important but not vital if the football intellect is there in enough quantity to offset it.
