Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?
It’s not really an assessment on the progress of Kreuger because I’ve been encouraged by his work at VFL level as well. It’s more that with McStay’s return most likely next week it feels like change for changes sake. If we’re doing it for the contest then I’d prefer Frampton because he can also offer defensive cover and is better ruck cover if we sub out Cox or Cameron.I’ve been a huge critic of kreuger sco, but I’ve watched him closely in the VFL. At worst he’s bringing the ball to ground and creating a contest, and offers good second efforts for a tall. That’s what we are lacking atm. He can bring the ball to ground. Was outstanding two weeks ago, and played his role in tough conditions on the wkend.
I'll get a couple drive-by's for this from a certain few donkeys - but I could see Ginni giving Lippa a chop out in his role occasionally. He is shorter and doesn't have the tank yet, but he is a smart player with very good foot skills, and like Lippa he lowers his eyes well and often assists goals it seems. I've noticed the club are getting a lot of midfield time into the Ginni pig behind closed doors. He definitely gets in and under, had a clearance at CB. He may not be fast, but either is a few of our mids, but what he does have could work with a bit of mid time. With more fitness I reckon it could be a string to his bow that can be added.
He was meant to play midfield in his draft year before covid hit.
I think if he went seriously hard on improving his tank, maybe, but I don't think Ginnivan is as good a user on both feet. Can often get himself or teammates into trouble by rushing into kicks (like around the corner instead of backing up from the mark quickly).I'll get a couple drive-by's for this from a certain few donkeys - but I could see Ginni giving Lippa a chop out in his role occasionally. I think it could be an extra tool in his artillery in a few years - Like Eliott with his occasional inside-mid chop out, etc.

Which is more reason to suggest they see a long term future for him here.I'll get a couple drive-by's for this from a certain few donkeys - but I could see Ginni giving Lippa a chop out in his role occasionally. I personally think he's improved on all of that decision making stuff a bit though and will get better with experience. A lot of our experienced mids are clangering it up at the moment, mind you.I think if he went seriously hard on improving his tank, maybe, but I don't think Ginnivan is as good a user on both feet. Mitchell has a foot complaint according to 9 news and failed to complete training. Big loss coming up against Gold Coast midfield, if he misses.Mitchell missed training, hope all is okay.
That is true, it is an aspect of our chaotic style. I rate Ginni's chances to make it. He's too clever and skilled. Still has a bit of a kids physique though - that will changeI personally think he's improved on all of that decision making stuff a bit though and will get better with experience. He has a foot issue, and failed his fitness test
I would definitely give him a go. Give him significant midfield time too.No better time you'd imagine.

Oops- jinx!Wonder if this makes room for Macrae?
Massive out when we don’t have Jordy available either. Means Adams has to carry the whole load of in and under ball winning.Mitchell has a foot complaint according to 9 news and failed to complete training. Big loss coming up against Gold Coast midfield, if he misses.
Let's all settle down hey? They've said it's not serious.Massive out when we don’t have Jordy available either. Means Adams has to carry the whole load of in and under ball winning.
I ain’t worried about it being serious. I’m concerned with how we cover Degoey, Mitchell and sidey. Already a tough game just became even harderLet's all settle down hey? They've said it's not serious.
Could be just the chance he needs.I would definitely give him a go. Give him significant midfield time too.
But we don't yet know if he'll miss this week.I ain’t worried about it being serious. I’m concerned with how we cover Degoey, Mitchell and sidey. Already a tough game just became even harder
Hopefully not! No idea if he’s up to it, but v the Suns up there is not when I’d like to find out. Fingers and toes crossed Mitchell gets up.Wonder if this makes room for Macrae?
Oh yeah, I absolutely prefer Mitchell playing. More just wondering about possibilities if he does miss. Hope not, but I rate FinHopefully not! No idea if he’s up to it, but v the Suns up there is not when I’d like to find out. Fingers and toes crossed Mitchell gets up.
Good teams find a way. And we love a challenge interstate undermanned.I ain’t worried about it being serious. I’m concerned with how we cover Degoey, Mitchell and sidey. Already a tough game just became even harder

They’ll name him based on the train on squad. It was also selective reporting because he didn’t go through a fitness test (that’ll be Friday) and wouldn’t have come out at all if he was in the trouble some are taking from it, but I in no way share the confidence that’ll permeate this place if Macrae gets a crack. Rowell and co will eat him alive!Oh yeah, I absolutely prefer Mitchell playing. More just wondering about possibilities if he does miss. Hope not, but I rate Fin
I would prefer Carmicheal come in and play mid forward, MacCrae and GC midfield is a huge riskThey’ll name him based on the train on squad. Not sure why I’m being told to settle down over that observation. It’s not going to have a long term effect, but in the context of this weeks game it’s a big blow if he misses.Let's all settle down hey? They've said it's not serious.
