Yeah I never thought of him as a bad kick but the last couple of season have convinced me he isn't the best.

Probably bottom 3 in kicking from our "best 22" but would be in the top dozen in a lot of other teams best 22.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that this was a cardinal sin of team uniform designs (may have been in relation to cricket kits) but it seems to be rather prevalent. I'n not a fan either.

Not sure about all this chatter regarding Howes kicking. He is an elite kick, his draft highlights and Box Hill games show this. I cant remember the last time the Hawks drafted a bloke who couldn't kick (Muston?). He's going to be a star this kid. Hopefully get another dozen games into him this year.

Expect many players to debut in season 2016, Heatherley, Brand, Willsmore, Miles and even Webster if he can stay fit might play some games at some stage during the year. Then you've got Ryan Burton who's essentially a ready made player. I wouldn't be surprised if he played a lot games in 2016.

I'm not sure Smith is capable of such an emotion, the boy is a natural born grinner.

If there was a thread about which player will have a "career"* year then I'd say Smith. Almost won a Norm with a sore leg.

I expect Burton will be very much work in progress in 2016 as JOR was in 2015, both based on serious injuries/issues with their body.

Lovell is the one from this year's draftees I expect will get more game time than the others. But even he will be competing with Langers, Hartung, Howe, JOR, etc who did not make the GF team.
