I always think they are hyping it up a bit for the fans.. gotta give us something to watch in the off season.

What I love is even internally when pitted against each other they want to win. That is full blown mongrel campaigner.

Maybe it's a bit of psychological warfare against opposition. Half the comp has flown up to copy us and there our boys are sinking putts and throwing frisbees into bins.

Flagged Webster for games.

Andrew Russell also said,

“You could throw a blanket over probably 20 players in terms of who’s trained at the highest level since we’ve been here, and that’s what we’ve been really pleased about,” he said.

Good signs that there are some hungry boys in the group.

You can make out quite a lot of the senior players just by the way they move. Hodge, Mitchell, Rioli, Roughead, Birchall, Smith, Hill, Puopolo, Gibson and probably quite a few others have little characteristics about the way they run, move and kick the ball that I think make it obvious who they are even if they aren't wearing a number or if you can't make out their face.

Once you can spot a few you know then you can tend to make out who the rest of them are based on the groups they are in (defs, fwds, mids, rucks).

That's the problem. With Popeye & Cyril both pretty handy in the tackle dept. & Breust making up tackle numbers, a defensive forward won't get too many opportunities.

That's enough for me to back in this No One Else guy. What made him stand out?
