This is hilarious!!!

How does Drinkwater replace Coutinho? We already have similar players in Can, Henderson and Wijnaldum. We dont need a player like Drinkwater. We need a creative midfielder.

Draxler is bang average and a trouble maker.

We'd be FAR worse off if we replaced Coutinho with those two.
Captained a 3rd string German squad to the confederations cup, but yeah bang average lol

lol misread your quote and thought Drinkwater captained Germany.

I don't doubt that we can replace a player like Coutinho. We've done it before and bounced back.

My concern is that the last 10 years have taught us that we typically take 2-3 years to identify, develop, and integrate a replacement(s) of commensurate quality before we rebound and challenge at the top again.

If you could guarantee that we'd sell Coutinho and finish the window with 3 'ready-to-go' signings like Van Dijk, Keita and Draxler then I wouldn't mind all that much, but we're no guarantee to get any of them, let alone all 3. Fortunately Klopp and his team seem to have a far higher 'hit' rate in the transfer market than their predecessors, so our turnaround may be quicker these days, but I'm still wary in this scenario. A bird in the hand and all that.

Personally I'd rather keep Coutinho and add the final 1-2 pieces to the squad to enable a title challenge this year, rather than selling him, restructuring and hopefully popping our heads back into title contention in 2019, but I'm impatient like that.

You would think Liverpool would be after another striker. Surprised they aren't looking Gabbiadini
We've got Firmino, Sturridge, Origi, Solanke and Ings.

Compare that with Matip, Lovren, Klavan and Gomez. For mine a CB is much more needed.

Probably part of his insane contract that he has to parrot lines like that
typeclub was right messi's contract has ****ed the club. paulinho isn't good enough for brighton let alone barca

messi's contract hasn't ****ed barcelona. the continual ineptitude of the club since laporta and pep has ****ed them over much more than a single contract. madrid pay ronaldo an insane amount but arent stupid. while they go off an buy the asensio's. varane's of the world for bugger all, barca went and got alex song and douglas and vermaelen.

messi is the reason why barca have had any success in the last 5 years.

Paulinho was a gun at Spurs, all Barca need is to hire Timmy Sherwood
nah they need Arry or fat sam he reckons he hasn't done much because he has never had funds would love to see him in charge of barca

Get Crouchy in as a big target and Kranjčar pulling the strings in midfield. Champions League 'ere we come mate.

LOL at oppo supporters constantly telling us Coutinho isn't worth the money offered and we are stupid not to sell. With Coutinho in the team we are everyone's nightmare
