Given our inability to shift fringe players unless there is some kind of bidding war between clubs it will be something like that I imagine. Only 1 year left on his Arsenal deal.

Yeah I think that's probably why it's permanent. Seems to have had a few good spells in the Championship but wasn't great at rangers.

He wouldnt start over Baka and Kante imo, he would be a great squad option/rotation and a huge upgrade on Drinkwater.

Doesn't seem to suit his footballing goals but they are in the UCL, and if the money is right he may be up for a big payday before he retires.

Neymar playing a traditional 10 is a waste imo as his pace and dribbling skills could be limited in that role.

It's either on the left or upfront for him, he needs to run at defenders, not be pigeonholed between the lines where passing/distribution is would be most relied on him there.
