Or it's simply an opinion.

Kane as a pure out and out striker is as good as any.
Lewandowski, Suarez, Aubameyang, Cavani, Mbappe, Dybala, Lacazette, Benzema, Aguero, Higuian and even Morata and Icardi are all better and I'm probably forgetting another 2-3.

Would only say those bolded are better. Mbappe has done it for 1 season really. He might be in time but he isn't yet.

Both I guess. I don't think Rooney will be a flop and look past it nor will he be back to his best Premier League form. I reckon he'll score 12-18 goals next season.
There's a fair difference in the signings as Ibra was coming off his most productive season ever in front of goal and obviously still had a lot to offer whereas Rooney has been cooked for a while now.

I can't see Rooney getting anywhere near those numbers TBH. His touch has regressed so much and he doesn't have the confidence or ability to handle being pressed anymore so almost always looks to pass backwards or side ways or directly to the opposition when he's closed down. He thinks he can compensate for his decline by doing a job in midfield but his passing just completely lacks the pace and imagination needed to unlock a defence or take advantage of a team mates run. United's attacking moves would consistently break down when he was involved.

Players love him so I do think he'll have a good impact behind the scenes but he really shouldn't be anywhere near the starting lineup of a top half team IMO. I hope he proves me wrong though as I was a huge fan of his once upon a time, I'd like to see him bow out of the game with a bit of dignity and that was just never going to happen here.

Don't forget Dzeko, Bellotti, Mertens etc... Lew and Suarez are the best. You'd only say Kane if you were looking for some laughs

Yep, you are really entitled to your own opinion on that.

I've bolded the ones on which I think you're taking the piss though.

Not too much separating Kane with Lewy and Suarez and he is a good few years younger than both.

You don't think Higuain is up there? He's gone at better than 1 goal per 2 games ratio over 500 appearances in his career. Pretty impressive.

Yes he is very good, I just think Kane is better.

This is not really the thread for this discussion though, if anyone wants to discuss it maybe a thread should be made.

Opinions are like arseholes, we all have one.

Pants is obviously trolling. Bpl is also the 4th beat league in the world ATM so Kane isn't in top 10imo

The league overall shouldn't bring down an individuals rating. Otherwise you could just about dismiss Lewandowski as he dominates a one-team league
