What you mean?Guess you learned from your mistake with Lovren.
He'd start for Barca even in a back 4 IMO. The only teams I guess that wouldn't need him would be Real, Juve and probs Bayern.
He's got 5 years still on his contract and Soton want to hold him so thats why he's going to cost a fortune. But for teams who can afford it(it's only a figure in the end) he's worth it as he's as good as whats available.

What you mean?
Why do people hate on Matic? He's very solid.
Oh ok.. 20 million for Lovren is pretty fair I would have thought.Overpaying for a Soton CB. Thought that was obvious.
So why do you think the price tag for VVD is excessive when he's a much better player?Oh ok.. 20 million for Lovren is pretty fair I would have thought.
Because the papers are saying 70 million!!!So why do you think the price tag for VVD is excessive when he's a much better player?
Thought you didn't trust the papers like when you told me Salah wasn't happening.Because the papers are saying 70 million!!!

40M isn't far off on value for Matic, considering the circumstances, contracted and we are a direct rival.
Heheh all I said was I'll believe when he is doing the Anfield lean, which he eventually did. Top lad.Thought you didn't trust the papers like when you told me Salah wasn't happening.![]()

Yeah, he's a good footballer but he'll be 29 just before the new season starts. I think we'd be better suited with someone who could be at the club for 10 years and Fabinho fits perfectly.
Mou is rightly worrying about the here and now. Next season is what it's all about.
Probably because he's a garbage player. Why do people hate on Matic? He's very solid.
