Someone on a Milan forum I'm a member of posted this: Sheikh Mansour (Manchester City owner): "Wait in the next few days for the biggest deal in football history."

Now I have no idea if fake (seems fake IMO) but thought it would be fun to post.

Don't know original sauce.
I wonder what he'd know about Drinkwaters move to Chelsea.

Abu Dhabi and Qatar are fierce rivals so it makes sense that Mansour would try and buy Messi to outdo Qatar buying Neymar.

Buyout is £250m pounds though.

I think theres one or two reasons other than "keeping up with the Jones" someone might want to buy Messi.

There are other reasons but that would be what's driving it.
LOL. We've been chasing Messi for close to a decade and it has nothing to do with Neymar, PSG or Qatar.

FWIW our best chance was last season where Messi himself has said he was close to a move. He'll retire a Barca player.

Bloody hell, you know the markets gone crazy when Johnny Evans is going to break the transfer record.

You haters can try and take the piss all you like but I've slept on it, looked at the pros as well as the cons and I've certainly come to terms with the signing should it happen.

He'll be your best CB.

Very underrated.

I know this Serge Aurier fella is a massive campaigner, but what's he like as a footballer? I haven't seen a whole lot of him apart from the odd PSG game here or there so I'm not really sure if the reports I've read that he is excellent are true or not.

Lots of talk about that we've agreed both personal terms and a fee with PSG and we're just waiting to see if he'll actually be allowed in the country and issued a work permit.

He's class. He's also a lunatic.

He'd be the best RB in the league imo if he comes.

How will he get a work permit?

Also what fee is he going for. Can't see levy or Poch taking that big a risk if there's a sizeable fee

I remember watching him make children of his opponents in the CL a year or two ago. Every time I have watched him he has looked like an absolute weapon. Even pre-season against us in the US he was a level above. He must be a massive, massive d*ckhead because his talent is undeniable.
