Jack Wilshire supposedly set on moving to Real Betis next year. With the style they play under Setien and the players he could have around him, it'd be a really interesting move for Jack if he went through with it.

That and playing for the 6th biggest club in Spain would be alright too.
If he gets an offer from an epl team he'll take it, he doesn't look like someone that wants to leave England.

6th biggest teams in Spain don't get relegated frequently, friend.

Barca, RM, AM, Valencia, Bilbao, Sevilla all bigger and better and you can make a case for the likes of Sociedad, Espanyol etc too.

Would have them in the 9-15 mark with Deportivo La Coruna (would be higher if they weren't such an unstable yoyo team), Villarreal, Celta Vigo etc.

I guess they have the big stadium, comparable to the Mestalla in size/attendance, but their brand just isn't big enough for me. Going from EL in 2013 to being relegated the next season on the back of not being able to retain players firmly puts them towards minnow status.

Real Betis, in terms of raw numbers of supporters, are one of the biggest clubs in Spain (6th in Spain, 37th in Europe). I understand that their shitness drags them down (Newcastle) but they're still ****ing huge. They sell out the Benito Villamarin most weeks which holds 60,000 people.

And with Setien as manager and players like Sanabria, Fabian Ruiz and Victor Camarasa they've got the talent to finish top 10 easily this season and push on for Europe in the next few years.

They'll lose them all the moment your Valencia's, Sevillas, Bilbao's, Sociedads etc see them as a threat.

Sevilla will never buy from Real Betis (and vice versa), Bilbao only buy Basque and Sociedad are financially on the same level as Betis. Only Valencia out of that list could buy who they wanted to a certain extent.

Sociedad are miles ahead of Betis in regards to finances and Betis's last elite player was Basque, who Bilbao ended up buying.

Sociedad kept Griezmann and Bravo for a few years before their buyout clauses were matched. Carlos Vela has stuck fat with them for years and has played some decent football there scoring about one in every three. Imo they handle themselves very well and were good enough to play in the CL one year.

The fact that even a thing still just makes me hard for me to accept.

Yes, its admirable in a way, but the fact they can be considered a Top 5 team in Spain based on their restrictions, even better than Catalonia's 2nd team, speaks volumes.

Arguably one of the best youth academies going around there, hence why they survive.

But he didn't want to yet. A lot of people kind of knew about this so its not click bait. He's been admiring us for a while.

So he didn't want to join RM in August 2017 but wants to now in Nov 2017. Really believeable lol.

He's always wanted to but the timing wasn't right. Another reason is he plays in Ronaldo's position so he's going to play in Paris until CR7 is gone which could be his last season.

Is it just me, or is Arsene seemingly preferring German based players more these days compared to the French and Dutch types he had during his golden era.

Seems a slight change in his philosophy
Germany weren’t particularly good 15 years ago or so. We beat them 5-1 in Munich with Emile Heskey up front
