Fair enough didn't know loan players weren't allowed, then i would have jose fonte over lovren.
No schneiderlin at southampton was unreal as a cdm at the end of the 2013/14 season , Schneiderlin was credited for the most tackles, interceptions and highest work rate in the Premier League, establishing himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in England. He picked up both the Players' Player and Fans' Player of the Year awards at Southampton's end of season awards.

Nah, replace Costa to partner Morata. They are paying £50m for Alvaro on the 1st of July and he hasn't been bad for AM.

He's been better than Diego Costa (when he was even healthy). Morata has under-performed, but he's not as bad as he was at Chelsea, which it seems most fans of EPL teams seem to assume

Sounds like the league is a bust in general. No elite players are going anywhere near China for 50k / week though.

their problem has always been the type of player they've attracted. they cant pull the best players away from the best clubs, the best they've been able to do is overpay for disposable players. none of the players they've brought in have been remotely marketable like an ibrahimovic. started off alright but the best imports are the ones they had at the start of the experiment.

Paying 400k / week to the likes of Oscar isnt sustainable long term. I've read that some of the local Chinese squad players are on less than 10k / week.

CSL was really a plaything for President Xi and his friends running the clubs. They are really back at square one, will be interesting to see how the league develops.

Seems like the best option for all involved. Xhaka was never going to be able to win the fans back, and nor was he even really good enough for what Arsenal need by the end.

there's a good player in there somewhere. never seemed to really settle at arsenal and just lost his head too often. dont think he really ever enjoyed being at arsenal, or english football in general.
