Well shit. That's a big signing for BVB. Always funny to hear YNWA but at BVB not it's true home at Anfield.

It’s also a different version if you listen to it. I think it was back in the mid last century we played against Liverpool and the club just thought that’s what everyone played before games so we adopted it.

All I was saying is he was supposed to be much, much more than what he is.

No you asked why United fans still rate him. You then tried to backpedal but still came out looking dumb as usual.

I thought Liverpool copied it off someone else too?
Nah mate. We were the first. Celtic soon copied us. Then a lot of teams over the years have adopted it like BVB, Feyenoord, FC Tokyo, Mainz, 1860 Munich, FC Twente, the list goes on.

Really glad United didn't sign Haaland. Have been saying it for a while. Just not the player we need.

Also those terms. Wowsers.

Yeah and United copied our “Glory, Glory” chant. To be fair we forfeited the right to sing that some years ago

At least you didn't have to deal with Raiola again!

That snake will make a fortune off the inevitable Haaland sell on in 3 to 4 years time.

If it helps you sleep at night brother.

Also I'd like to thank you again for Robbo.

Another player you rubbished before being made to look a fool.

Germany whether it was Leipzig or Dortmund was and is the best place for him anyway.

Guess those terms with Raiola were needed to get him. Won't phase BD if they keep him long term.

It's almost like that was his release clause and it came down to wages/where he wanted to go. o_O
Yes, I heard that Dortmund offered him more in wages then what we did.
Still, I agree with pantskyle we don't need him in ole's fast-paced system.

At this stage Haaland is raw but he is already such a natural goalscorer. 19 years of age, 28 goals in 22 appearances this season, including scoring in 5 consecutive CL games - it's inevitable he'll be a great signing for BVB. Will be interesting to see how they reshuffle now. Their current front 5 (in a 3-4-3) looks something like:

Sancho-Reus-Hazard
----Brandt-Weigl-----

Subs: Witsel, Dahoud, Gotze, Guerriero, Alacer, etc

Haaland coming in at CF means Reus will be shuffled out to one of the flanks. Does Sancho stay until the end of the season, or does he leave in January? If he stays, their depth is looking pretty amazing for the next 6 months.
