"Clever" is another way of saying being a bunch of tightwads. 1.6m Championship player and a Schalke youngster on loan are deals clearly done on a very limited budget. Hopefully they work out well.

While never ideal Ozil, Sokratis and now Mustafi all needed to be moved on by hook or crook. All had 6 months left on their contracts as well. Nice bunch of loan outs as well, hopefully Willock and AMN get some good game time. The only disappointing factor is we weren't able to secure Reiss Nelson a loan somewhere, another 6 months of warming the bench for him.

Not sure but with Jota returning his time will be very limited. It sounds like it is definitely happening, apparently doing a medical. Sick and tired of Soton poaching players from us.

AMN is talked about like he's a generational talent. Tbh when he plays CM at PL level he looks lost. His best value is his utility but I honestly don't think he has the tools to be a midfielder in the PL at a high level. Arteta seems to agree and the community shield is hardly a game you look to for talent sightings

Always good to get dead wood off the books. Not ideal having them hang around the club being generally miserable knowing their career is pretty much over.

Wouldn’t say he’s talked about as a generational talent, he’s got something about him though, hopefully gets the game time he needs and can break into the arsenal side next season, he’s a handy player to have, can be a mr. fix it or sorts
