Cool mate. As Chelsea fan I obviously know that haha, we were consistently a top 4-6 team for about a decade before Roman came along. But yeah we were never closing that gap to you guys and a couple of others without his money.

Newcastle were better than Chelsea before Roman came along. Regularly competed for cups and the league. Their league drought was similar too.

Yeah we were a much better team at the time of Romans purchase and didnt/wouldn't need as much investment as Newcastle will to make it to the top.

Their finances dwarf ours though. They'll just take a little more time.
