Seems we're more into Isak at the moment, although I saw him appropriately described recently as having the gait of a newborn giraffe. Of course you're right though, CL would really change the focus. Can't see it being a priority now.

The players who will be leaving for sure either in Jan or the summer are: Henderson, Lingard, Bailly and VDB.

The players who should join them either in Jan or the summer are: Pogba, AWB, Mata and Cavani.

I think 11 is a massive stretch from the media but clearly there are a few that need to go asap. Only VDB, Lingard and Henderson can have any complaints really. All should have played a lot more, VDB should not have been signed in the first place and Lingard/Henderson should have been sold.

United just need to be willing to accept they probably won’t get great offers for many who go and some of the ones that do go will probably do really well elsewhere. They aren’t all awful players, but it’s clearly an environment now where some of them will just never do well.

Rangnick’s biggest job is working out who the main ones are who are creating such a rubbish culture and make sure they’re gone before the new manager comes in. It’s probably more important than even finishing top four.
